With the summer grassroots season nearly complete and most evaluations done until the fall, the recruiting landscape for the Class of 2027 is beginning to take shape. Several prospects elevated their stock with strong performances throughout the June and July live recruiting periods. Here is a look at a handful of shooting guards in the 2027 class who did the most to boost their recruiting profile this summer.

Dixon was back healthy this summer and impressed as a scorer on the perimeter. Dixon posted 14.6 points per game at Nike's Peach Jam. Dixon has a high basketball IQ, good strength and can be a three level scorer. He is capable of creating opportunities for himself or others and is a solid shot maker from 3. Expect some of the nation's top programs to be in pursuit over the next few months.

Mitchell averaged nearly 12 points per game at Nike's PIT, where Team Takeover captured the title to finish the summer. The rising senior is a strong, physical wing with positional size. He can attack the rim on closeouts and finish through contact. Mitchell shot nearly 40% from beyond the arc and is a willing rebounder from the perimeter.

Nobody helped his recruiting stock in June more than Burnette who committed to Lafayette before the July live periods. The rising senior averaged over 27 points per game at DMV Live and VA Live. A sharp shooting wing who knows how to play, Burnette has the ability to create space off the bounce and plays with toughness. Expect him to make an impact in the Patriot League.

Another prospect who came off the board this summer, Braun-Duin committed to Mount St. Mary's in late June. The rising senior scored over 28 points per game during the Capitol Hoops Summer League, while shooting nearly 40% from beyond the arc. He knows knows how to play, has good strength and has the ability to create space off the dribble and finish through contact.

Harsanyi finished the summer with games of 25 and 11 points in the semifinals and finals of Nike's PIT. The PVI product is a sharp shooting wing who knows how to play and plays with some toughness. He moves well without the ball in his hands, has better than average foot speed and improving ball skills.
