The Prep Hoops Circuit brought six stops through the Chicago area this spring and summer, showcasing some of the Midwest's top talent. While playmakers and athletes grabbed plenty of attention, this group of 2027 prospects consistently made their mark with their ability to stretch the floor, score efficiently, and impact winning. Here are seven shooters who stood out throughout the circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2442186' first='Ty' last='Smith'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package']

Smith established himself as one of the premier floor-spacers on the circuit. The 6-foot-3 wing consistently punished defenses with his catch-and-shoot ability while also showing the confidence to attack hard closeouts and finish at the rim. His patience, shot selection, and versatility make him an ideal wing who can thrive both with and without the basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839877' first='Elton' last='Jaegerskog'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2075515' first='Hoops' last='4 Health']

Jaegerskog impacted games in just about every way imaginable. The skilled combo forward stretched defenses with his perimeter shooting, scored off smart cuts, and ran the floor with purpose in transition. His relentless motor, rebounding, defensive versatility, and willingness to do the little things made him one of the most complete forwards on display throughout the circuit.

Corey Wellere | [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last='']

Wellere proved to be one of the purest perimeter shooters in the field. The smooth left-handed guard thrives in an up-tempo system, where his quick release and deep range make him a constant scoring threat. He also handled secondary playmaking duties well and brought energy defensively, fitting seamlessly alongside other talented guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2392177' first='Chase' last='Kunzer'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2075622' first='M14' last='Hoops']

Kunzer wasted little time reminding everyone why he is regarded as one of the area's top shooters. He caught fire from beyond the arc early in the weekend, displaying outstanding confidence and shot-making ability from deep. Although his tournament was unfortunately cut short by injury, his brief appearance left a lasting impression and highlighted his tremendous scoring potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125584' first='Angelo' last='Lazo'] | Illinois Outwork

Lazo's feel for the game and off-ball movement consistently created quality scoring opportunities. He never rushed possessions, playing with outstanding pace and confidence while knocking down perimeter jumpers from all over the floor. His composure and ability to find open space make him one of the more dependable shooters in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2255121' first='David' last='Showman'] | All In

Showman used his size and quick release to become a difficult matchup on the wing. Always prepared to shoot, he consistently punished defenders who gave him even the slightest bit of space. His ability to stretch the floor from well beyond the arc, combined with timely shot-making in big moments, made him one of the circuit's most productive perimeter threats.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407899' first='Cohen' last='Ottaviano'] | GPA

Ottaviano cemented himself as one of the most reliable shooters throughout the Chicago events. The left-handed guard consistently found open windows with excellent off-ball movement and showcased outstanding balance and confidence on every attempt. His ability to space the floor and make defenses pay from the perimeter made him a valuable offensive weapon every time he stepped on the court.
