Rising Junior Perimeter Prospects from UAA and UA Rise

With the summer live recruiting periods now complete, we take a look back at some of the top performers at the UAA and UA Rise sessions in Atlanta and Louisville. These two sessions of the Under Armour season offered an opportunity for a handful of Florida's top programs to compete on a national level. Here is a look at five rising junior prospects who can expect their recruitment to trend up this school year.    One of the state's top point guards in the 2028 class, Adea averaged double digits for [program_tooltip program_id='2076347' first='SOH' last='Elite'] during the month of July. The high academic prospect has positional size, good length and better than average foot speed. He changes speeds effectively with the ball in his hands and is an efficient finisher around the rim. A reliable decision maker with a high basketball IQ, Adea takes excellent care of the basketball and can run a team.     Carson is a versatile wing with positional size for [program_tooltip program_id='2076150' first='TNBA' last='South']. He is most effective attacking the rim and in the midrange at the offensive end of the floor. The rising junior is a capable passer and plays with a high motor. A high academic prospect, he is a productive rebounder and has a high basketball IQ.     We watched Tolbert score 20 points over two games earlier this month, proving he can be a scoring threat against high level competition. The rising junior can put the ball in the basket at all three levels and has above average quickness. He is capable of playing both guard positions, has good length and is active at the defensive end. Tolbert has earned a spot in our updated 2028 player rankings later this month.     Another key contributor to [program_tooltip program_id='2076347' first='SOH' last='Elite']'s 16u summer success, Gnewuch showed his ability to be a scorer with size on the wing. He posted 16 and 15 points in his two games we evaluated this month. He is a capable three level scorer, has good length and continues to be more consistent as a perimeter shot maker. Gnewuch can also attack the rim and is athletic enough to finish above the rim. The rising junior has a high basketball IQ and his combination of size, skill, and feel make him a prospect to track in the 2028 class.     The Cape Coral guard is a quick, attacking scorer who led SWFL Hoops 16u in scoring in multiple games this month. Legros can create offense off the dribble, has above average quickness and has good positional size and length.
