He can blow past defenders in the half court with one move, while his acceleration makes him extremely dangerous in transition. Jefferson also showed great defensive instincts, consistently coming up with steals that turned into easy points on the other end. His active hands and full court pressure made him a pest defensively, while his passion allows him to play bigger than his size. Perkins thrives in transition, using his speed to beat defenders to the rim for easy finishes. He was also clutch when it mattered most, hitting three free throws to send the game to overtime before knocking down the game winning free throw in sudden death. His strong frame allows him to bully smaller defenders in the paint, while his shooting ability creates problems for slower defenders on the perimeter. Thomas also moves well for his size, giving him versatility on both ends.
