Ahead the two upcoming live periods, and coming off a busy spring and month of July in the gym, we have updated and expanded our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 prospect rankings. We now feature a Top 150 with nearly 550 total prospects in the database. As always, we strive to do more than just blast out a rankings update for clicks and subscriptions. We dive deeper highlighting stock-risers, new names, Watch List standouts, and much more. Let's begin here with some of the top stock-risers from this spring.

Daniels took the keys to the car for Carmel last season and earned Indiana Junior All-Star honors. He is now the defacto two-way head of the snake for what the Greyhounds do both offensively and defensively. The 5'10" point guard is a true pacesetter offensively with elite end-to-end quickness. He also can guard the ball and provide pressure in the full court. Daniels is undoubtedly a scholarship point guard that should continue to attract a good deal of interest this month.

The stats from his junior season told the story, but he has now since confirmed it with an excellent month of June with the Batesville Bulldogs. Hughes averaged 19.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game as a junior before missing the spring AAU season due to injury. He shot 54-135 (40.0%) from three-point range during the high school season, but his passing ability has really popped this summer. The 6'4" smooth, left-handed guard is a scholarship-level player. Hughes made one of the biggest jumps during this update from #118 to #43 overall.

A 6'9"-6'10" left-handed big man who can stretch the floor out to three-point range is always going to be intriguing. McCormack has really started to pair some of his upside as a floor-spacer with improved interior finishing and rebounding ability. That led to increased production as a junior and a breakout spring that ultimately led to a committed to Taylor University. The Bishop Chatard rising senior was one of the top spring-stock risers with Indiana Basketball Club seeing his ranking up from #75 to #18.

The Class of 2027 in Indiana is littered with small guards. Many of them are excellent prospects, but few have the consistent production and body of work as Parker. He is a 5'9" shot-maker and all-around playmaker that produces at a high level regardless of the competition. Parker has been a star for South Bend Riley High School, really shined as an Indiana Junior All-Star, and was good through the spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] on the UA Rise Circuit. He is a scholarship-level guard that Division II and NAIA programs should be all over. Parker jumped from #27 to #16 in our prospect rankings.

Schlabach led Westview to a Class 2A state runner-up finish and was just seconds away from cutting down the nets. The do-it-all guard then had a great spring with LVL Up 17u proving himself against even higher levels of competition. He is a guard that can both play off of the ball or serve as the primary ball handler. His best skill may well be his passing ability. Schlabach projects as a Division II or high-level NAIA prospect and jumped from #38 to #24 in our prospect rankings.

This 6'8" rising senior forward from Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School is no stranger to the stock-risers list. He has consistently moved up the rankings throughout his career and now has cracked the Top 10. Vise, one of the most versatile forwards in the class, jumped from #20 to #9 in our rankings. He is an outstanding passer, handles the ball well on the perimeter, and is a true playmaker and initiator offensively with the ball in his hands. Mid-Major programs should be evaluating him closely during these two upcoming live periods.

One of the biggest spring stock-risers in the state of Indiana, Walker has jumped all of the way from #74 to #13 in our rankings. The potential was always there for this 6'4" wing, but he had to wait his turn at Fishers High School. He started to break out while given more opportunity as a junior and then really took off this spring with Indiana Basketball Club 17u. Walker is an elite athlete with great physical tools, but is really shooting the ball at a high level from three-point range as well. That is what has earned him a couple of Division II offers and should have Low/Mid-Major programs evaluating him in the upcoming live periods.
