While guards often steal the headlines, this weekend's The Platform event in Chicago showcased plenty of frontcourt talent that made winning plays around the rim. Whether it was dominating the glass, protecting the basket, finishing through contact, or stretching the floor, these post players proved just how valuable they are on both ends of the floor.

Kingston Harris | Work Foundation | 2029

Harris was one of the biggest bright spots of the weekend, anchoring the middle for Work Foundation all three days. The 6-foot-5 forward consistently kept the ball high on catches, finished efficiently over defenders, and controlled the paint with his physicality. Defensively, he protected the rim with multiple blocked shots while cleaning up the glass in traffic. Harris continues to trend upward and has the tools to become one of the top interior prospects in the 2029 class.

David Jones | Oakland County Rise Elite | 2027

Jones looked like a man among boys throughout the event. The powerful 6-foot-5 forward punished defenders on the block, dominated the rebounding battle, and repeatedly finished through contact. He also flashed perimeter touch, making him far more than just a paint scorer. His blend of strength, mobility, and explosiveness makes him one of the toughest frontcourt matchups in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2951200' first='Timmy' last='Van Gorp'] | Midwest Bobcats | 2028

Van Gorp wasted no time making an impression, points with his versatility. The 6-foot-5 forward scored with his back to the basket, made smart backdoor cuts, stretched the defense from deep, and attacked off the bounce. His polished offensive package and ability to score from multiple levels made him one of the most productive forwards of the weekend.

RJ Place | MTXE Premier | 2029

The 6-foot-8 Wisconsin native continues to embrace the traditional post role while showing flashes of modern versatility. Place established deep position, rebounded everything with two hands, and displayed soft touch around the basket. He even handled the ball in transition on occasion, highlighting his feel for the game. His timing as a rim protector and basketball IQ allow him to impact winning despite not relying on elite athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='2859747' first='Kalel' last='Davis'] | Zero Fears | 2029

Davis remains one of the highest-upside post prospects in the building. At 6-foot-6 with length and mobility, he runs the floor well, attacks the rim in transition, and already impacts games as a rebounder and shot blocker. As his coordination and offensive polish continue to develop, his long-term ceiling becomes even more intriguing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2829810' first='Miles' last='Burnison'] | Chicago LockDown | 2027

Burnison used his 6-foot-7 frame to control the paint on both ends. He attacked defenders off the dribble, finished confidently with either hand, and consistently created matchup problems inside. Defensively, his size altered shots, clogged driving lanes, and helped secure rebounds. His physical presence was impossible to ignore.

Jack Bolle | MTXE Premier | 2029

Bolle continues to impress with his nonstop motor and interior productivity. The 6-foot-6 forward attacked the offensive glass relentlessly, rolled hard out of ball screens, and consistently finished around the rim with soft hands. His energy, toughness, and ability to create second-chance opportunities make him a valuable frontcourt piece.

[player_tooltip player_id='3660663' first='Evan' last='Bauer'] | Midwest Bobcats | 2028

Bauer's relentless effort around the basket stood out all weekend. The active 6-foot-6 forward lived on the offensive glass, generating extra possessions while also making smart reads as a passer from the high post. He showed the ability to attack the rim himself and consistently impacted the game with hustle and physicality.

Oliver Evans | Wisconsin [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] | 2027

Standing 6-foot-9, Evans embraces the physical side of the game. He established deep post position, welcomed contact, and finished with soft touch around the basket. His hard screens, disciplined box-outs, and ability to seal defenders created quality scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates. Evans understands how to do the little things that help teams win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2598486' first='Elijah' last='Codjoe'] | Zero Fears | 2029

Codjoe provided a steady interior presence throughout the weekend. The 6-foot-8 post player kept his offensive game simple, scoring effectively with his back to the basket while rebounding everything in his area. He defended with physicality, protected the paint, and showed a strong foundation as a traditional post player with room for continued offensive growth.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844459' first='Xavier' last='Fisher'] | [program_tooltip program_id='3647874' first='Chicago' last='Cannons'] | 2028

Major presence for the [program_tooltip program_id='3647874' first='Chicago' last='Cannons'] in their perfect weekend! Scores in the paint and impacted as a rebounder while also being able to stretch the floor a little.
