Most Clutch Players Of Summer

June gives players a chance to showcase their skills with their high school teams while club ball in July is a chance to win and get confidence built up before the school year starts. With such a unique chance in different type of situations for players to show their skills, clutch time is an important part of the game for players to get their own when it matters. The Ironwood guard showcased his all-around bag in close games. Whether it was pulling up off the dribble from deep or using his crossover to create seperation and finish at the rim, Henry got his. As a scorer, you knew the ball would be in his hands to take the big shot always.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1873639' first='Grant' last='Mattingly'] - Central</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After this summer, there's no doubt the clutch factor runs in the family. Just like his brother John, Grant showcased his ability to make tough shots and get his own in clutch time. In every close game, Mattingly had the ball in his hands and got to his spots to get clutch baskets. It didn't matter if it was a jumpshot or attacking the rim, Mattingly finished the game and put his Bobcats in position to win.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2146239' first='Carsyn' last='Dean'] - Verrado</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most prolific scorer from Arizona this summer of course was a clutch scorer. It didn't matter what the score was, there was a level of confidence by Dean that his baskets would be the difference for Verrado. As a knockdown shooter, Dean pulled up from deep both off the catch and shoot and off the dribble to put his Vipers in position to win. With a hand in his face, he knocked it down as well showcasing his ability as a tough shot maker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='2834414' first='Jackson' last='Moore'] - Cienega</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mr. Bobcat bucket getter has become the unofficial nickname for Moore who showcased his clutch factor throughout Section 7 and Nevada Live. Everytime a tough shot was needed or a big time basket for Cienega, there was no doubt that Moore was going to be the one to take it. The way he attacked the rim to get a clutch layup or knock down a big shot was special and that'll translate to the regular season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">PJ Nowlin Jr - Canyon View</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After this summer, it's obvious why Nowlin is one of the top seniors in the state and a candidate to be player of the year. There was a switch that always seemed to flip when the game was close. It didn't matter if the Jaguars needed a shot from deep or a basket at the rim, Nowlin was taking it or setting his teammates up to make it. His unselfish play coupled with a confidence to take and make tough shots showed why he is one of the clutchest players in the state this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
