Dewey is a pure scoring guard with a beautiful jumper. He was a problem for defenders all weekend and would score from all over the court. He displayed his elite shooting from the outside and would hit three’s off the dribble, catch and from NBA range. He has a sweet pull up jumper in the midrange. Dewey gets down hill with a quick burst of speed and can finish with finesse around the rim by manipulating the ball of the glass. He also has a sweet float game in the lane and his game is all brought together with his smooth handle and IQ.

One of the top guard performers at the event. Plays with confidence and is a natural play maker. In the first game I caught he handled the ball and shook his defender driving the lane for the winning basket finishing with a left hand off the glass. In his second matchup he got hot in the second half scoring on five consecutive three point attempts. High IQ player who highly impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Dictates the pace of the game offensively and defensively make is opponents play out of their comfort zone. Came up big for his team in clutch situations consistently.

When the moment called for it, he answered. A tone-setter from the jump, he came out defensively locked in, picking up full court, turning ball handlers, and making every touch a grind just to cross half court. He didn’t just apply pressure—he dictated it.

On the other end, he delivered when it mattered most. Played within the flow, made the right reads, and capitalized on his opportunities. Off the catch, it was automatic—no hesitation, no second thought, just a clean, fluid, repeatable release. Knocked down shots from deep and showed up in the biggest moments with timely buckets that shifted momentum.

Once a turnaround mid-range jumper went down, everything opened up. He shot the ball well from three, consistently got downhill to create contact, and applied strong defensive pressure that made life difficult for opposing ball-handlers.
