About Adrien
Expert Analysis
Delon Bowen | Prep Hoops Scout
He ran the lanes well and caught passes cleanly in stride, with the hands and coordination to convert lobs and finish with soft touch around the rim. He also displayed a good feel in the mid-range, adding scoring value away from the basket. Defensively, he blocked shots and altered attempts around the rim. Coming out of the JKP program, he could be Arizona’s biggest stock riser.

Adrien was the biggest player in the entire event and dominated the paint. He moves fluently for his size, especially on the break. He can get out and run lanes for fastbreak dunks or lobs. He has a solid handle for his size and isn’t afraid to push the ball off the rebound. He has great hands and will catch almost everything thrown at him. He will dunk it through contact or on unsuspecting defenders. He can extend his range from the midrange to the three and will shoot it if defenders give him space.

Attacks the glass consistently at both ends, cleaning up rebounds with his length and then pushing the pace himself once he has the defensive board. Real shot-blocking ability, going straight up on drivers and contesting anyone who tries to work on him in the post. Excellent finisher at the rim, converting lobs and catch-off-the-roll layups with ease thanks to his size advantage inside. Mixes in midrange pull-ups off the dribble and fadeaways as well. Moves really well in space, taking it coast to coast and finishing the attack himself. In the halfcourt he makes the right read out of the post, firing cross court to open teammates, proving to be an effective passer.
