Notes about the 16U players:

#7 Josh Davidson SF 6'6 2027 Sussex/London

A long and leaner wing forward who can score it from all levels. He has a fluid handle but his shooting sets him apart from many. He has a picture perfect jumper with deep range (he hit a 30-foot jumper to win a game in OT) and will score with mid-range fall aways, dunks and long striding layups. He rebounds and blocks shots.

#35 [player_tooltip player_id='2689901' first='Drew' last='Jolley'] Prescott

A steady performer can play both big spots up front with PF or C. His best attribute are his soft hands. He can catch tough passes in traffic and go up quickly and make the move. He will thunder it down with improving twitch and score with reverse layups going baseline, drop steps, threes and mid-range jumpers. He controls the glass and will block shots with great timing and length.

#1 [player_tooltip player_id='2689898' first='Caden' last='Lozen'] Prescott

An athletic wing who can shoot, pass and dribble. He is slowly becoming one of the most athletic players in the local 2028 class. He had multiple poster type of dunks way above the rim but scores it many ways. He has a polished floater game, he will dribble drive to the basket, hook shots, runners, offensive rebound put backs, threes, long striding shots, mid-range fall aways and fast break scores. His ability to create a shot in traffic with his handle is impressive.

#21 [player_tooltip player_id='2731627' first='Parker' last='Bowden'] Mesa

A wing forward who is a very good passer. He rebounds well in his area and he can defend a few positions. The southpaw can shoot it from mid-range and in plus his three point shooting is slowly coming along. He is crafty around the basket and thinks the game.

#23 [player_tooltip player_id='2552773' first='Davis' last='Mason'] Hamilton

A bigger guard with skill. He showed in the practices what he could do and he is a shot maker from the perimeter from mid-range to the three point line. He can give a hard ball fake and rise up from mid. He could not play unfortunately due to an injury.

#11 [player_tooltip player_id='2533653' first='Bennett' last='Christensen'] ALA-Queen Creek

A pure point guard with real pace and next level advance passes up the court. He often changes speeds getting his opponents off balanced and will drive and kick it to a shooter. He scores with threes off the catch, mid-range jumpers, which is his sweet spot and fall aways. His understanding of how to change speeds, makes his game go along with his passing.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id='2552782' first='Jaiden' last='Hong'] Chaparral

An undersized point guard is cerebral and tough. He is a gamer to score it with some clutch moments. He will hit the three (he made one to send a game into OT) and has a nice pull-up from mid-range. He also has the IQ to know when to move the ball and find open teammates. His speed, court vision and toughness shined in every game played.

#2 [player_tooltip player_id='2741030' first='Max' last='Johnson'] Valley Christian

A quick and twitchy defensive true point guard. He has some impressive bail out passes and he threaded the needle a few times in every game. He will often drive and kick it to a teammate with pinpoint passes. He will score with deep threes and blow by his defender at times to the basket. He is also a dog on defense and literally lifts up the energy of the team and collects many steals per game. The reigning defensive player of the region will mostly likely win it again.
