Mile High Madness closed the summer circuit exactly the way everyone hoped with high level competition, breakout performances and plenty of statement moments. For many players it was the final opportunity to prove themselves before attention turns to fall ball and the highly anticipated high school season. If this weekend was any indication, the months ahead are going to be must watch basketball. Lock in now!    Schulz continued his outstanding summer with the Colorado Bulls by putting together another impressive weekend of tournament play. His combination of length and body control consistently created advantages on both ends of the floor, allowing him to finish through contact and score efficiently around the basket. He showed great patience attacking the rim, using his size and athleticism to get quality looks while staying under control in traffic. Schulz also impacted the game without needing a high volume of touches, running the floor hard, finishing in transition and making winning plays. His steady production and continued development have made him one of the more intriguing prospects to watch     Boateng turned in a super productive weekend with Colorado Swoosh, using his physical presence to impact the game on both ends of the floor. His big frame made him a force in the paint, where he consistently battled for rebounds and created second-    chance opportunities. He ran the floor extremely well for his size, rewarding teammates with easy transition baskets while putting constant pressure on opposing defenses. Around the rim Boateng finished through contact and used his strength to establish deep position. His combination of toughness, rebounding and efficient scoring made him one of the key contributors throughout the tournament     Devan emerged as one of the biggest discoveries of the weekend with DBA Elite, consistently making winning plays through his toughness and effort. He played with strength and physicality, battling for every rebound and refusing to give up possessions. Offensively Devan showed a great feel for the game by getting to the right spots at the right time and making himself available for easy scoring opportunities. His cuts to the basket were well timed and decisive, leading to several quality finishes around the rim. His motor, instincts and willingness to do the dirty work made him an invaluable piece throughout the tournament     Barajas was outstanding for Hard2Guard throughout the weekend, controlling the game whenever the ball was in his hands. A true playmaker he consistently broke down defenders off the dribble, making him extremely difficult to contain. He attacked the rim with confidence, finishing through contact while also creating quality opportunities for teammates with his vision and passing ability. Barajas scored at all three levels and played with relentless intensity that set the tone for his team on both ends of the floor. His competitiveness, toughness and ability to impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator made him one of the tournament's top performers     Hastedt played with purpose all weekend for Mile High Collective, showing the confidence and aggression of a player determined to make an impact. As a skilled guard, he consistently stretched the floor with his shooting ability, forcing defenders to stay attached well beyond the arc. That attention opened driving lanes for both himself and his teammates, as he regularly drew multiple defenders and made the right basketball play. Hastedt showed a strong feel for the game, scoring efficiently while keeping the offense flowing. His combination of perimeter shooting, offensive awareness and steady production made him one of the more effective guards throughout the tournament
