Class of 2028 Stock Risers Top 50

The PH NorCal Class of 2028 Rankings were updated a few weeks ago. Here are the prospects who made the biggest jump up the charts, entered the Top 50 because of their play on the court.    He'll be a top guard in the Sacramento Area. A fast and speedy guard with quality handles, and vision to run point, as he continues to improve his overall guard play, while being a scoring threat. He's got a burst off the dribble often getting closer for mid-range jumpers, paint points or assists. He'll challenge shot blockers, he can get his shot off in different ways around the basket. He can make 3's around the perimeter. His quick hands and feet on the defensive side of the ball can cause problems. He looks primed and ready for a breakout season.     He's a transfer with a versatile skill set, expected to contribute right away. He has the ability to be a facilitator, good handles, court vision, a willingness to moves the ball, plays mostly under control, He has ways to generate a bucket knocking down open 3's off the catch. He has the size, and footwork for points in the paint. He plants two feet, powers up might use a pump fake, and other ways to get his shot off. He'll get his fair share of rebounds, an alert defender.     He's a transfer who'll start and contribute right away. He has size, and strength, with improving skills to generate buckets. He's used to handling the ball, attacking the basket from different areas around the perimeter. He'll work the high and mid-post areas, passing, or using one or two hard dribbles to finish strong at the rim. He has the touch to hit paint jumpers. He has the toughness to battle the bigs in the paint an excellent rebounder. He can get it and go.     He's primed and ready to show off his shooting skills in the always tough EBAL. He's an excellent 3-point shooter, you can call a play for him. He has movement off the ball, uses cuts, and screens to get open, he's ready for the catch and shoot. He's put in the work to balance his overall game. He's an improving ball handler and passer.     He doesn't try to do too much, lets the game come to him usually generating his scoring opportunities within flow of the offense. He has an improving skill set as a W/SF, he can be assertive at times using his dribble along the perimeter, and baseline, he has the lift to dunk on you, and challenge shots at the rim. He'll shoot open 3's, run to finish in transition. He has some post scoring abilities. He's an improving rebounder.     He's working under the radar, has a good fundamental skill set, contributes on both ends of the court. He's an improving wing/small forward, has shown he can handle, take care of the ball using his body to drive, pass, and shoot 3's along the perimeter. He squares up, not rushed with good form. He has the body, footwork and touch to get things done in the post. He'll box out rebounding, has the size to defend the post at this level.     He'll be a key piece transitioning from JV to Varsity. He has the speed, handles, and court vision to effect the game, starting or coming off the bench as a point guard. He's fast in transition, hard to contain in open court. He has the ability to get into the paint for assists, and points. He handles ball pressure, moves the ball around the perimeter. He has the footspeed to defend other speedy ball handlers.     He's set for a breakout season, 6'5 and growing he's improved his game across the board. There's no doubt he has work to do but, we see the improvements. He's been productive this Spring and Summer playing with confidence against quality competition. He's improved his activity around the basket on both ends. He's lengthy, has good timing going after blocks, and rebounds. His improved post footwork gets him points in the paint. We've seen him put it on the floor driving from perimeter to the basket.     He plays in a system that likes to get the ball up court somewhat controlled fast breaks. He runs wide to the corners, shot ready to knock down transition 3's. He makes use of screens, lots of movement, and cuts to the basket. He's shown he can square up along the perimeter, shoot open 3's or use his dribble to get closer to the basket. He get rebounds with good outlet passing, he might push it on occasion. He's a ball mover along the perimeter.     A versatile player plays multiple positions on this team. He's strong, lengthy arms with good ball handling and passing. He sees the court, finds cutters, makes the extra pass. He has good activity on the defensive side of the ball, plays the top at times, arms extended, with movement, He'll defend ball handlers, and shooters. He has the strength help defend in the post area at this level. He's a bounding guard, can get it and go.
