brings great size and feel to the guard position. He changes speeds well, using pace and control to get where he wants on the floor. Loevner uses his length to finish efficiently in the paint and has the court vision to make the right play, whether it’s threading a pass or creating for himself.
He’s also a very capable shooter from deep, spacing the floor and keeping defenders honest. Loeveler has the great size, skill and play making ability which could soon make him one of the more versatile guards in the Bay Area.

At 6’6 he’s a big guard with the skill set to function from both guard spots, does well running point. A good handler, has vision, and good instincts delivering passes up court, and around the perimeter. He’s a growing body with a frame to fill. He’ll put up open 3’s, can hit the mid-range off the dribble. He’s shown he can drive into the paint, balance himself, and play through contact. He’ll get a rebound. 27 to 13

A big guard listed at 6’4, didn’t see much action on the Varsity last season. At this event he showed he could run the point guard position with good vision, long passes up court, some were nicely placed bounce passes, he knows where his scorers are. He has long strides driving into and across the paint. He’ll move the ball, he found a body to boxout. We’ll see more

Our first look at Loevner was at the Pro West Exposure Camp. He played in one of the top games. At 6’4 he spent a time with ball in hand, setting the offense, pushing the pace in transition. He has a good burst on the attack from the perimeter, he can hit transition 3’s off the dribble, drop a short jumper, and make his way into the paint for an assist, or bucket. He has the vision to be an excellent passer.
