2028 Player Rankings: Profiles of Top Newcomers

He performed very well in the spring for the solid [program_tooltip program_id='2075486' first='Midwest' last='Mayhem Hoops'] club team after earning substantial playing time for the varsity team at Waukesha West as a sophomore. Didion has good size and length and leads his club team in steals. Treder competes with energy, size, strength and skill, assets that helped him average more than 40 points a game for a small school in California last winter. The transition from California to Wisconsin and from small school to one of the top programs in the Midwest will be a challenge, but Treder appears to have the makeup to make big contributions for the Vikings over the next two seasons. His ability to run a team as a lead guard and get the ball where it needs to go in order for his team to be successful are definite assets for the lanky junior. He often outmuscles and outhustles other forwards to score near the basket. Hagerstrom runs the floor well, is a solid rebounder and can be effective in the pick-and-roll. A first-team all-league choice in the Scenic Bluffs Conference as a sophomore, Jirschele has excellent size and very good ball handling, passing and shooting skills. He netted 16.4 points per game and grabbed 6.1 rebounds per outing as a sophomore while helping coach Jordan Polk's squad to a 20-7 record. He can score, rebound, defend and get on the floor for a loose ball all while competing with toughness and a strong desire to help his team get the victory.
