Several stellar players have come out of the Hillsboro program over the last five-to-seven seasons and it appears Jirschele is next on the list of stellar performers for the Tigers. A first-team all-league choice in the Scenic Bluffs Conference as a sophomore, Jirschele has excellent size and very good ball handling, passing and shooting skills. He netted 16.4 points per game and grabbed 6.1 rebounds per outing as a sophomore while helping coach Jordan Polk’s squad to a 20-7 record. Jirschele, who made 69 shots from three-point range in 2025-26, is one of three returning starters for Hillsboro along with Malekai SimpsonMalekaiSimpson
