Caden is a power-wing who can play the 3 or 4 spots depending on what his team needs. With his physical frame at 6’6, he was so tough to stop around the basket at the 16u level. Powered his way up for a handful of finishes inside, was able to kick it out to open shooters when the defense collapsed on him, and he also had a smooth reverse lay-up to avoid a shot blocker in transition. His hustle really stood out as well, as on one play Caden dove on the floor to help his team win position, and then immediately got up and sprinted to finish off the transition opportunity.

A relentless competitor around the basket, Hagerstrom was exceptionally aggressive with the ball and found his way to basket after basket in the lane for the Wisconsin Blizzard in its victory over G-Elite . Hagerstrom used strong footwork and excellent body positioning to score 17 points as he dominated around the basket. Hagerstrom was equally impressive on the defensive end of the floor as he constantly used his physicality and alertness to make things difficult for opponents. Hagerstrom averaged 6.0 points and 5.1 rebounds as a sophomore at Wrightstown and appears primed to be a key player for the Tigers over the next two seasons.

Coaches also covet size and veteran Wrightstown coach Cory Haese has a promising young big man in Hagerstrom. He was able to hustle his way to 12 points for Team 12 in a game against Team 11, using his nose for the ball and quick rebounding to score near the hoop. Wrightstown has a very good tradition of winning basketball teams and Hagerstrom figures to help the Tigers continue their winning ways over the next few seasons.

Caden was a strong rebounder inside for Team 1. He moves pretty well at his size, helping him rebound outside of his area and also to beat opposing bigs up the floor in transition. Keeps the ball high when he catches around the rim, helping him score off of offensive boards.
