Mile High Madness wrapped up another busy club season, but a handful of players made sure they weren't forgotten. Some were names I hadn't seen much before, while others elevated their stock with another strong showing. These are the prospects that kept finding their way into the notebook and have me looking forward to seeing what they do during the high school season.

It's also showcase season and this is the perfect time to lock in and get signed up for our events to get further evaluation as you're now on our radar! He dominated in a few games and is a player who I feel could make some noise on varsity this upcoming season. He's very skilled offensively and has a knack for making plays. He seems to understand where to be on the floor as he drifted into open space, filled lanes in transition, and slipped behind the defense for easy baskets. Collective rotates the ball and feeds the open man, and he was on the other end of that often. He got into the paint, flashed to the high post, and scored and showed soft touch around the rim. I thought his game against 7070 Select was especially encouraging because he impacted it in so many different ways. He's a player who plays off of instincts, uses his size, and was very consistent. We have to see him soon, hopefully at the showcase, but if not, then soon after that as we believe there's some special brewing at Douglas County.

Pierce is a new name sniper who showed that he could light it up. He had multiple games where he knocked down multiple 3-pointers in the games and showed that he's a microwave scorer. He was running the baseline, coming off of screens shot ready, and knocked down a few in a row. He's comfortable with deep shots and had a quick release, where defenses had to figure out where he was. The ability alone to stretch the floor made him a valuable player and one we wanted to keep watching. I also liked that he mixed it up a bit as well and had a few floaters. He's one worth monitoring.

Garrett was a player whose versatility stood out throughout the weekend, and he was able to make his impact on both ends of the floor. He quietly pieced together a really productive weekend as plenty of his plays go under the radar. Despite giving up size at times, he battled on every play, carved out rebounds, and wasn't afraid to mix it up inside. He also got the boards and started the break, and either dished it to the open guy or finished through contact. We watched him in 3 games, and we liked how he was assertive at times. He picked up and 1's, got a few blocked shots, and used his length. He does the dirty work. Is a versatile defender and kept plays alive. He's a player who jumped on the radar after a solid weekend.

Grady was a fill-in-the-gap type of player for the Colorado Wildcats on the weekend and was a standout in each game that we saw him in. He has a good feel and timing to cut at the right moments and gets a few backdoor baskets, and he hit shots when his team needed a basket. He found soft spots in the defense, spaced the floor well, and made defenses pay whenever they lost track of him. He's not someone who needs to dance with the ball to score. Instead, he cuts, relocates, and lets the offense flow. Once he got into rhythm, the shot started falling, and he went on a couple of runs. Every team needs someone capable of catching fire without disrupting the offense, and Grady filled that role extremely well.

We've seen Tsai a couple of times now, and he just seems to be getting better and better. His feel is solid, he understands where to be on the floor, and he's one of those prospects who can play multiple positions. He was getting out in transition and finishing, he was owning the glass and getting easy baskets on rebounds, and went right up. We saw him dominate for a few stretches on some iso baskets, he used the screen and attacked, and showed he could be the focal point of the offense. Tsai has a good understanding of the game, and that's why his team was able to pick up a couple of wins around him. Solid weekend for him.

Scholl was a problem all weekend for Colorado Wildcats. He owned the paint, carved out space, and went up on rebounds. He was one of the toughest players in 15U on the weekend and influenced plenty of plays for his team. I saw a game where he was finishing through contact, challenging shots at the rim, got a couple of rebounds, and pushed it out on outlet passes. Scholl set physical screens and opened up the floor for his teammates. He kept battling for second-chance opportunities and even capped off the weekend with a buzzer-beater on a turnaround from half-court. These are the type of players you can build around, and he brought it all weekend. He's a name who jumped on the radar.
