Under the radar Prospects to watch at the East Coast Live Pt. 1

The East Coast Live begins this Friday, June 26th, at the Henrico Event Center and will feature over 130 different teams. The event has been known to have some of the best talent and brings out some of the biggest-name coaches on the East Coast year after year. This year has numerous under-the-radar prospects for many college programs to take a closer look leading up to the event.    Colton is one of the state's best shooters. He's been known as a flat-out scorer, and I fully expect him to display that once again this weekend. He's a 6'5 combo guard with great shooting mechanics and a college-ready body. He's been on a tear this summer for [program_tooltip program_id='2227208' first='Hill' last='City Crash'] and has been highly sought after by some of the top D3 schools in the area. Liberty Christian Academy is in good hands with him as one of their main options moving forward.     Jack is a 6'9 big man from Glen Allen High School, and he has improved drastically since his junior year. He's playing with [program_tooltip program_id='3424568' first='Team' last='Loaded Gold'] this summer and has shown his growth in his physicality, finishing ability, and defensive presence. He's a traditional big man with a high motor who can have double-double games, and he's shown that a handful of times this summer with Glen Allen and Team Loaded. He's an absolute workhorse who lives in the gym and loves to compete. He's been sought after by many D3 programs, and he will play a key role at Glen Allen and in their success moving forward.     Pierce is a new name for most, but he won't be for much longer. He's a 6'6 forward who is very physical inside and has great muscle to finish through contact. He's been trending upward all year long and has what it takes to be a double-double player on any given contest. He plays for Atlee High School and Team Richmond HGSL 17U and has shown why he's one of the better bigs in the area. He is great in the pick-and-roll setting and has what it takes to be a pivotal piece of a college roster next year.     Shamir is a score-first combo guard standing at 6'1. He will be one of the key returners for L.C. Bird next year. He plays for Local Legends 17U and has had a monster summer with both teams at the live events. He's a very efficient 3pt shooter and high-quality scorer from multiple levels. He has a tight handle and great instincts around the rim on when to attack close outs or to let it fly from beyond the arc. He will be a player college coaches will want to take a look at this weekend.     Horatio is someone I've seen countless times this summer, and each time I walk away more impressed. He's a 6'4 guard who can hurt opposing defenses in a variety of ways. He's got a very quick first step where he can get downhill and get to his spots with ease. Horatio is a hyper athletic guard who uses his speed and athleticism to his advantage on both sides of the ball. He causes deflections, which cause easy transition buckets for his team. He will be one of the top under-the-radar players heading into his senior year at Huguenot High School, and he plays AAU for Circle Sports AAU.     Jayden is an unknown 6'2 guard from Collegiate School who has really improved his game this summer and will play a major role in Collegiate's success this year. He's a quick and explosive guard who uses his speed to his advantage in attacking downhill or exposing strong closeouts. What's stood out to me most about Jayden is his work ethic and playmaking ability. He lives in the gym, and in live action, he always seems to be making the right reads and creating for others on their cuts. Jayden is a high percentage 3pt shooter and does a great job locating his spots off the ball. He plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2248971' first='River' last='City Reign'] 17U and has been a key piece to why Collegiate is on the rise as one of the top teams to watch this weekend. He will be a great addition to a Division 3 program.
