LEAD smashed a team from Canada by 33 points, they beat the top Comets team by 32 points, got their toughest game from Fury in a win by 16, LEAD by Crossfire by 20, and then won the much anticipated title game with Falcons/Sizzle by 23! Huge weekends from [player_tooltip player_id='2521853' first='Justus' last='Dayee'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2353796' first='Jaylen' last='Greer'] who were both named first team all event. Dayee is looking quite matured when it comes to agility and getting taller and longer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The winner of division two was Minnesota Hustle! They opened with a three score win over Heat Bluhm and then had a big margin win over [program_tooltip program_id='2698536' first='TVP' last='Elite']. They beat Full court and Grind by 12-13 each and then won the title game over Southwest Minnesota Stars Orange 54-48 to take the title!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] Vann went to Wisconsin and went undefeated in the second division at 15s. While in the land of Cheddar the Magic beat three Minnesota teams - Elevate, [program_tooltip program_id='2412152' first='East' last='Metro Wave'] and [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] Blue - in addition to a Wisconsin team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Strong 4-1/3-1 Showings</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yes the Sizzle/Falcons squad lost the title game but remember they also got to the final which is a big deal. They beat Bearstail in a one score game and they beat the Hoop Habits team that is playing on the top Under Armour circuit of that age, by a score of 71-51. [player_tooltip player_id='2419994' first='Carter' last='Cupito'], winning a state title in March, getting a Gopher football offer at QB, and taking this team to the finals last weekend. Take the attention off the loss, they had a weekend that impressed beating the top Stars team by 16 points in a top five win. They also won their St. Cloud rematch vs the Titans by 35 points! Two very good wins among their weekend three wins. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Ohnstad with a bounce back weekend. They lost their first game by a point but then won three games including a win over Phenom and then a pair of Fury wins against two different Fury teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Minnesota Crossfire Frederickson was 3-1 and left NHR State with a huge momentum boost. They picked up two big wins defeating Fury Komp and Heat Conyers in addition to the WOTN win. The lost was to the event champ LEAD and considering the LEAD margins of the weekend, Crossfire was one of the better showings vs the champs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Southwest Stars Orange was in division two and made the major push to the title game. They beat Powerhouse, the top Wildcats team, a team from Swish and a Heat Jones team that has won a ton of games. Title game was close but Hustle won by six. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
