MESA, Ariz. — Hundreds of high school basketball teams traveled to Arizona over the weekend to compete in one of the largest live viewing period events in the country. The annual Section 7 event, which has become a must-stop on the recruiting trail for hundreds of college coaches, featured many of California's top teams and prospects. In this piece we break down seven wings we saw who boosted their stock with their play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2948296' first='Carter' last='Brown'] | 2028 | Corona Centennial

Brown had been inching closer and closer to being one of the biggest breakout prospects in SoCal and he broke out in a major way at Section 7 The 6-foot-6 rising junior is a late-bloomer special with his combination of size, length, fluid athleticism and ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line off the catch. Brown also made his presence felt as a cutter, slasher, offensive rebounder and finisher around the rim. He picked up offers from Seattle and Loyola Marymount.

[player_tooltip player_id='3579020' first='Chris' last='Davis'] | 2028 | Redondo Union

Davis has been on our radar since last fall and, after a reserve role with Redondo Union as a sophomore, stepped into a starters spot and made the most of that opportunity over the weekend. The 6-foot-5-plus wing is best as a floor stretching threat off the catch - especially from the corners - and can attack closeouts for straight-line drive finishes or get into a pull-up jumper. Davis is just scratching the surface of the type of long-term prospect he can be and college coaches from New Mexico and San Jose State extended offers.

Dominick Olanrewaju | 2028 | San Joaquin Memorial

Olanrewaju is a big, physical wing whose sturdy 6-foot-6 frame allowed him to be successful and efficient as a downhill driver and finisher in transition and half-court offense. The rising junior out of Central California has two-way versatility as a multi-positional defender and a player who can expose mismatches on the offensive end. Olanrewaju bullied his way through smaller defenders and got into the lane where he scored with force but he also used his handle to drive by bigger defenders in isolation situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194355' first='Gene' last='Roebuck'] | 2027 | La Mirada

Roebuck already has a big reputation and a high level of recruitment but that doesn't mean a player with that type of status can't improve their stock. The 6-foot-5 wing, who is one of the best pure scorers on the west coast, was on a mission to remind coaches and scouts how good he truly is and did that with his advanced footwork, perimeter shot creating and shot making and the ability to impact the game as a passer. Roebuck averaged 30.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game and got to the free throw line an impressive 12 times per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750234' first='Houston' last='Rolle'] | 2028 | Heritage Christian

When writing about players who impacted all aspects of the game, Rolle had to be in the conversation. From scoring to rebounding to steals and blocked shots, the 6-foot-5 rising junior used his handle and athleticism to slash his way to the paint and finish around the rim and his length, lateral speed and defensive anticipation to act as a disruptor on that end of the floor. Rolle led his team in scoring (31.3 per game), rebounding (11 per game), steals (3.5 per game) and blocks (7 total).

[player_tooltip player_id='2948288' first='Jakobi' last='Oware'] | 2028 | St. Pius X-St. Matthias

Oware showed plenty of flashes of skill, versatility and upside during his sophomore year but really started to put all the pieces together playing with Team CPSA this spring which resulted in going from promise to production. The 6-foot-7 wing was at his best in transition where he used his length, long strides and gliding athleticism to score around the rim with touch or a powerful dunk. Oware is also a capable spot-up and pull-up shooter who gets great lift and has a high release on his jumper. He picked up offers from Georgia, TCU, New Mexico, UNLV, Seattle and others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2215149' first='Trevor' last='Dickson'] | 2027 | Modesto Christian

Dickson is one of the smoothest three-point shooters in the state regardless of class and had his deep range and quick trigger ability on full display at Section 7. The wiry 6-foot-5 wing was best in spot-up situations and off-bounce opportunities where his shot-ready footwork and textbook shooting mechanics helped him knock down 15 triples at a 39 percent clip. Dickson picked up offers from UC Santa Barbara, the University of San Francisco, UC San Diego and Fresno State.
