Here we examine the prospects in the 2028 class that were previously ranked, but elevated their standing from that previous position with how they played at RB.&nbsp; Without further ado here is <strong>Riverside Brookfield: 2028 Stock Boosters</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532014' first='Logan' last='Brown'] (St. Laurence)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is an intriguing wing with the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball.&nbsp; Was a standout defensively blocking shots and getting steals with his length.&nbsp; Outstanding player in transition with his ability to get to the rim and press the issue.&nbsp; Capable spot up shooter and passes ahead with nice outlets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2385372' first='Noah' last='Corro'] (St. Laurence)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Corro is a combo guard who can play both on and off the ball.&nbsp; Plus shooter from beyond the arc pouring in the three ball at a high clip.&nbsp; Crisp passer putting his teammates in positions to succeed.&nbsp; Good ball handler and can create for himself along with others off the bounce.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2433704' first='Oliver' last='Kerrigan'] (Whitney Young)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kerrigan made the move over to Whitney Young from DePaul Prep and is going to fit in nicely with this group who needs size.&nbsp; Rebounded well on both ends of the floor including several put backs in the games we saw.&nbsp; Capable shooter along with flashing nifty footwork around the cup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Orlando Edwards (West Aurora)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edwards is a lanky guard that can play both on and off the ball.&nbsp; Wins consistently on straight lined takes with his long strides slashing for scores.&nbsp; Plus athlete that finishes with acrobatic buckets and is a solid defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2436293' first='Cole' last='Christian'] (Lane Tech)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Christian is an intriguing four man in the 2028 class.&nbsp; Skilled low post scorer with an array of moves on the block.&nbsp; Gets points in the pick/roll looking fluid along with being able to deck it for a floater.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3454780' first='Amauri' last='Fenton'] (Belleville West)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fenton put together a nice showing in both games we saw him.&nbsp; Well built post that can score on the block and is light on his feet with nifty footwork around the cup.&nbsp; Finishes out of the dunker spot, hook shots, and quick spins.&nbsp; Quality offensive rebounder that got second chance points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2963414' first='Stephen' last='Dixon'] (De La Salle)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dixon is a smaller point guard that has juice to his game.&nbsp; The 5'8” guard is tough as nails and has nice handles.&nbsp; Changes speeds and has a burst with the rock getting to the cup.&nbsp; Good pull up game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2766431' first='Kyler' last='Payne'] (Waubonsie Valley)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Payne is a skilled five man who went to work!&nbsp; Legit size helps him get on the offensive glass for a ton of put backs.&nbsp; Very light on his feet for his size.&nbsp; Spin moves backing into the paint along with crafty takes from the mid-post.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2194655' first='Braydon' last='Porter'] (Yorkville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Porter is well built wing that has traditionally relied heavily on his athleticism and strength.&nbsp; We saw some growth in his skill set at RB.&nbsp; Handles have gotten tighter and in the second game the three balls were falling.&nbsp; Really like what he brings as a defender getting steals turning them into points on the other end with big dunks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2834549' first='Jacob' last='Jones'] (Marist)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'1” combo guard from Marist won on straight line takes, snuck in for put backs, and shot it at a nice clip from both two and three.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2877491' first='Marshaun' last='Thornton'] (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thornton will 100 percent play college football, but he continues to show why he would be a scholarship hooper if he wanted to go that route.&nbsp; Big, strong, and freak athlete on the wing.&nbsp; Elite defender that was swatting shots and locking down on the defensive end all over the floor.&nbsp; Big time transition player throwing down dunk after dunk.&nbsp; Connective passer.&nbsp; Elite utility guy for the Caravan!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2632077' first='Jeremiah' last='Weatherford'] (Rich Township)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rich Township combo guard is going to be the leader of Rich this season.&nbsp; Plus defender that can check either backcourt spot.&nbsp; Scrappy offensive threat that gets to the rim and rebounds for a guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2844456' first='Amir' last='Green'] (Curie)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Green is a long and bouncy four man that is a pogo stick around the hoop on the offensive glass along with being a major shot blocking presence.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
