Carlos-Rey continues to establish himself as one of the young prospects to monitor closely in New Mexico. During this past weekend's High School Team Camp, the 2029 wing/forward averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game while impacting the game in multiple ways. He scored from all three levels, attacked the basket with confidence, and consistently found ways to make winning plays. What stood out most was his versatility and ability to be a constant offensive threat regardless of the defensive matchup. As he continues to develop physically and refine his overall game, Carlos-Rey is showing the type of growth that should have coaches paying attention over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2846704' first='Kannon' last='Moore'] was one of the more impressive young guards at the Los Lunas Team Camp. The Farmington High School guard showcased his ability to score in a variety of ways while remaining aggressive throughout the event. Moore consistently pressured defenses, attacked gaps, and finished through contact, converting several tough and-one opportunities. He also displayed a reliable jumper and showed confidence shooting the ball from the perimeter. His offensive growth and attacking mentality continue to stand out, making him a player whose stock is steadily rising as he prepares for the upcoming season.

Jaiden Carnes continues to make positive strides with his game and remains one of the more intriguing athletes in the state's 2027 class. The Cottonwood Classical Prep guard brings a high motor every time he steps on the floor and plays with an aggressive approach on both ends. His speed allows him to blow past defenders in transition and in the half court, while his athleticism makes him a legitimate above-the-rim finisher. Carnes' energy, competitiveness, and ability to impact the game with his athletic tools have been evident throughout the spring and summer, and he appears poised for a strong high school season.

Sam Marez has quietly put together a very productive spring and summer, showing continued development as a scoring guard. The Del Norte standout has consistently stretched defenses with his ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc, but his offensive game extends well beyond perimeter shooting. Marez has shown the ability to create his own shot off the dribble, attack closeouts, and finish at the basket. His growing confidence as a playmaker and scorer has been noticeable, and he continues to take meaningful steps forward heading into the high school season. If his current trajectory continues, Marez could be in line for a breakout campaign this winter.
