Keion was the top guard I saw on Friday night, as he can impact the game in so many ways. He is so fast and so hard to stop on the open floor. He was making blowing right by defenders look effortless, where he can finish around the rim with either hand. He is also an excellent shooter, being nearly automatic when shooting with his feet set off the catch. Bellfield plans to attend Minnetonka for his freshman season, where he is in line to take on a solid role at the varsity level.

Troy is the most consistent performer I have seen in this incoming freshman class, as he looked great again on Friday night. His handle and vision make him such an elite option as a lead guard, as he is constantly setting up his teammates for open looks. He has probably the quickest jumper I have seen at this level, being able to get shots off in a flash, knocking them down at a high clip. Hudson is also headed to Minnetonka for his freshman season, as he and Bellfield will form the top 2030 duo in the state.

Prestin was the top 2031 prospect I saw at camp, as he showed his full skillset as an elite scorer. He was relentless attacking the basket, trying to make something happen every time he touched the ball. He has good size, skill, and speed, which he used to get downhill to finish with touch or power. He also hit on several shots from beyond the arc, taking advantage of poor contests. Ortiz is going to be a name to know in Minnesota for years to come.

Mason's game is so smooth, as he is a true do-it-all point guard. He has a great handle and found working around defenders very easy. He plays with great pace and never looks sped up with the ball in his hands, getting inside whenever he wanted. He is a crafty finisher, mixing in layups with either hand, or inside and outside hand. He is also a knockdown shooter, as he hit on a deep three to force overtime in 5v5 play. Melzer has all the tools for a lead guard, but will even get scarier as he continues to grow.

Dylan put together a great spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] and I was finally able to see him in person at camp. He is an incoming 8th grader with solid size and a lot of skill. He was at his best when grabbing a rebound, then pushing the pace, to go coast-to-coast for a score. He is a great finisher around the rim, being able to convert with power or finesse. He is not afraid of contact, but can find different angles to sneak layups past larger defenders. Christensen will be a player to watch in Minnesota's 2031 class.

Blake was a player I did not know a lot about headed into camp, but came away being very impressed. He has solid size for an incoming freshman, being able to play out on the perimeter, creating using the dribble often. He was very effective when working in the open floor, being able to make one move to get to the rim with force. Blumer was a very confident offensive option that was one of the top scorers at the event.

Traesyn is another prospect in this 2030 class that has a ton of skill to go along with a strong frame. He was able to use his size to make a difference on the boards, coming away with contested rebounds on both sides of the ball. He really impressed me with his ability to create when putting the ball on the floor, showcasing a great handle, which he used to attack at a high rate. James can shoot the three and was fun to watch go to work with the ball in his hands.
