Blake Blumer Blake Blumer 6'1" | SG State MN is a six-foot-two-inch 2030 player from Apple Valley and played with Phelps (MN Falcons). Blumer was an active runner in transition and drove hard downhill a number of times. In the summer when I saw him in a game against MN Fury Blumer impressed me with his length and two-way play. Blumer’s activity on the court makes him look much like a positive court impact player.

Blake was another player at camp that can completely take over games with his size and skill. The 6’1” freshman guard looked much more experienced and coordinated than anyone else on the floor his size, dominating in 3v3 play. He is a relentless attacker and is able to finish with either hand through traffic inside. Blumer was also causing major disruption to opposing ball handlers, pressuring and forcing turnovers.

Blake was a player I did not know a lot about headed into camp, but came away being very impressed. He has solid size for an incoming freshman, being able to play out on the perimeter, creating using the dribble often. He was very effective when working in the open floor, being able to make one move to get to the rim with force. Blumer was a very confident offensive option that was one of the top scorers at the event.
