Oak Hills Summer Shootout Guard Standouts

Lowe is a crafty below the rim finisher who used pivots and pump fakes to create space to score. I like Lowe's toughness and aggressive slashing skill that allows him to be one of the top scorers in the ninth region. While Myrick is one of the best perimeter shot makers in the midwest, I was actually most encouraged by the fact he had multiple pickpocket steals that led to scores on Thursday afternoon. Hoffman is one of the elite shooters in Ohio's 2028 class and he benefits from some creative sets and off-ball screening actions that allow him to catch the ball with the space to fire away off the catch. Hoffman also can attack closeouts and didn't force the issue on Thursday night. Hooper is a strong built lefty guard who made some key shots and was fearless on both ends of the court. With a strong upper body and a playstyle that encourages contact and physicality, you'd easily confuse Parker for an upperclassman if you didn't know what grade he was in. Parker had a big game as a slasher against Centerville as he got to the paint and scored with soft touch off two feet. Expect Cincinnati La Salle to contend for the GCL-South championship this winter and Parker should be one of their key contributors next season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
