One of the most skilled guards from the greater Cincinnati area, Hoffman has had some monster scoring games this summer for both Turpin and Ohio Champion Ua Rise. Hoffman is an impressive perimeter shooter who is at his best when he’s running off screens and playing off the catch. I was impressed with Hoffman in my last viewing of him at the Oak Hills Shootout as he put up some impressive numbers against strong teams from across greater Cincinnati. I’d expect Hoffman to finish near the top of the ECC in scoring this winter and he should lead the conference in 3-point makes for a second straight season as long as he stays healthy.

Recently added to our 2028 rankings, Hoffman had a monster scoring performance against the host Oak Hills for Turpin. Hoffman is one of the elite shooters in Ohio’s 2028 class and he benefits from some creative sets and off-ball screening actions that allow him to catch the ball with the space to fire away off the catch. Hoffman also can attack closeouts and didn’t force the issue on Thursday night. Look for Hoffman to contend for the leading scorer and 3-point shooter in the ECC this winter.

Hoffman is a kid that you want on your team. You can tell he is a winner and willing to do whatever it takes to win. He has a high motor and did the little things for his team. He was active on both ends of the floor. He should have gotten the ball more on offense, but even though he did not, he didn’t let it affect his defense. He does have some nice skills offensively, though. During the king of the court and 3 3 session, he really excelled. He has a tight handle and was able to get the space he needed. Showed talented scoring aspects.
