NW June D1 Event Primer: Auburn Mountainview, Bainbridge

The NW June D1 Recruiting Event is coming up in less than two weeks. To get you prepared, we are working up previews of each participating team at the event. Here, we get to know the key players on both Auburn Mountainview and Bainbridge High Schools. These two schools return a handful of talented juniors-to-be, all of whom played key roles for their teams last winter as sophomores.   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Auburn Mountainview (WA)</h3>   Classification: 3A   2025-26 Record: 20-5   Key Returners   [player_tooltip player_id='2629689' first='Markell' last='Lowery'] 6-0 PG 2028   25-26 Stats: 11.6 pts 6.8 rebs 6.2 ast 3.2 stl   Creative ball handler who can exploit gaps, convert tough finishes around bodies, and has become a real threat to score off the bounce in the midrange. Will be their main creator and has the reactions and hands to be a defensive instigator on the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='2629635' first='Jarrick' last='Matthews'] 6-5 SG 2028   25-26 Stats: 10.7 pts 4.3 rebs 1.1 stl   He's a tall lefty guard/wing who can really stroke the ball from three. Showcased his potential last season with some big scoring games and has continued to improve as a downhill threat to balance out his offensive attack.   [player_tooltip player_id='2625612' first='Tavish' last='Harrell'] 6-7 SF 2028   25-26 Stats: 7.2 pts 4.2 rebs   Harrell is a bouncy stretch forward who will rebound, defend the rim, and step out to hit catch and shoot threes. Has improved his work off the dribble on midrange face ups and will be their key guy around the rim.   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Bainbridge (WA)</h3>   Classification: 2A   2025-26 Record: 16-7   Key Returners   Julien Zupan 5-10 PG 2028   The sophomore guard started to get on a roll last winter season and looks ready to play a bigger role as a key ball handler for the Spartans next winter. Has good change of pace, can knock down outside shots, and does a pretty good job staying ready to attack but playing with patience and getting teammates involved.   [player_tooltip player_id='2628458' first='Ryan' last='Rohrbacher'] 6-5 SG 2028   One of the best shooters in the state and has really improved his strength off the dribble to get to his spots, and balance out his offensive profile with more scoring inside. Very intelligent player who has filled out his game and put in a strong spring season. Has an offer to Seattle University and is a PNW prospect trending up.   [player_tooltip player_id='2729704' first='Kethan' last='Reed'] 6-8 PF 2027   Reed is a hardworking post, tenacious rebounder, and above average shot blocker. Has a good enough stroke to stretch the floor at times, and can put it on the floor and attack certain matchups to get to the rim.
