NorCal 2027 Rankings Update: Risers in the Top 50

PH NorCal updated the Class of 2027 Rankings recently. This group has been playing solid basketball throughout the Spring in club basketball, and now their high school teams. We have a couple of risers who just recently competed at Section 7 this past weekend.    A first team all-league player in the EBAL continues to raise his level of play on the court from the guard or wing positions. He's actively looking to put points on the board, while continuing to sharpen his overall productivity. With more touches his shot selection, and decision making are improving. He'll shoot 3's, find his way into the paint with a solid body to handle contact and help rebound. Had a good showing at Section 7.     He's playing good basketball in the Spring. He has size, still growing, and a frame to fill. He's improved his game playing away from the basket. He's handling, and passing in transition, moves the ball around the perimeter. He's comfortable putting up 3's, and using his dribble to attack from different areas. He's effective from the high-mid-low post, scoring and passing. He could be a double, double prospect at this level.     Judging from his work up to this point, he'll be major contributor. He's showing he can play on the wings and in the paint. He's producing paint points when they go to him using improved footwork, drop steps, reverses, and power moves in traffic, including dunks. He's taking and making 3-pointers, on occasion. He's an alert post defender, will get his share of rebounds. He's a court runner. Played well at Section 7.     He's an improving prospect from the Stockton Area. He's more aggressive in and around the post than before. He wants the ball, making himself a go to on the post turning and using his length to score around the rim. He's using 1 and 2 hard dribble drives from the high and mid post. He's a rebounder, shows some shot blocking qualities.     He's a versatile prospect that can produce points in a variety of ways, a go to guy. He makes others around him better. A decent ball handler with vision and passing in transition. He creates open looks for himself and others off the dribble. He can get to the basket, finish with a paint jumper or layup from angles. He can hit the mid-range or knock down open 3's when left open.     He transferred in a season ago as a 6'4 point guard who could facilitate the offense. In a new role this Spring, he's a guard/forward actively looking to put points on the board when he gets the ball, and facilitate when needed. He has moves to get into the paint off the dribble, using footwork, and patience to score in the paint. He moves along the perimeter for a catch and shoot, might use a screen, or use his dribble to square up mid-range and 3-pointers. Led his team in scoring at Section 7.     Fresh off a bracket championship at Section 7. D' Aquisto shows an improving all around game to add to his knock down 3-point shooter status if left unattended. He moves and cuts, uses screens to get open for catch and shoot 3's no hesitation. He'll use a dribble or two for a mid-range if run off the 3pt line. He's grown and bulked up a bit to handle contact on the drive towards the basket and help rebound. He's an improving perimeter defender, lengthy arms, moves his feet, and effort.     He's listed as a shooting guard, but can switch to the point guard position if called to do so. Good handles, quality passing, handles ball pressure. He has good strength using his body to take care of the ball and getting into the paint for points and assists. He's aggressive with ball in hand looking to score off the dribble hitting pull up jumpers, and moving without the ball for catch 3's, or a dribbles to free himself for 3's around the perimeter.
