Day two of Nevada live took place throughout the city of Las Vegas on Saturday. I spent the day at the Las Vegas Basketball Center watching Arizona teams compete against both in state and out of state competition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297438' first='Oliver' last='Burbach'] - Brophy Prep

Confidence is key, and for Burbach it's the way he plays that exudes it. As the primary scorer for Brophy, Burbach showcases an ability to score easily at different points in the game. He showed off his catch-and-shoot ability and shot it with confidence off the dribble. Defensively he stepped up to face guard the opposing team's best player and was physical. His effort and energy kept Brophy in competitive in a tough game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3226220' first='Linus' last='Turner'] - Sunnyslope

The spark plug of the Sunnyslope system currently is Turner. His ability to create havoc on the defense end as an on-ball defender leads to turnovers and instant baskets for the Vikings. On the day he showed the ability to switch and guard multiple players and force errant passes and off balanced shots. As his offensive game develops, his two-way upside is key in a system that thrives with a player like Turner.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552733' first='Donovan' last='Palmer'] - Sunnyslope

No player may see himself blossom in a new role in 2026 quite like [player_tooltip player_id='2552733' first='Donovan' last='Palmer']. After making the move from Chandler, Palmer's game has become more free flowing as he's able to play with less pressure as the power forward and not the center like his previous stop. In the post, he's able to use impressive footwork to create more space for himself and make a move to finish at the basket. His passing out of the post to the perimeter opens up the floor for the Vikings and really makes a difference in their offense. His rebounding game continues to improve and his upside as a division one big is growing as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555181' first='Adrian' last='Higuera'] - Millennium

There's a certain level of smoothness to [player_tooltip player_id='1555181' first='Adrian' last='Higuera']'s game that's similar to an old school point guard. His feel for the game and understanding of what the right basketball play is on any given possession is unique. He gets to his spot in the midrange and pulls up with ease and when the shot isn't there he makes the right pass to set up his teammates. The offense flows with the ball in Higuera's hands and his impact is deeper than the stat sheet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1546987' first='Adan' last='Diggs'] - Millennium

Arguably the best player in the country showed why he is that once again on Saturday. In front of a standing room only crowd of college coaches and fans, Diggs showed off his bag against powerhouse Sierra Canyon. Diggs scored in bunches all game long. He got to the mid-range, he pulled up from the perimeter, and attacked the rim with force. Sierra Canyon threw multiple defenders at him and it didn't make a difference as Diggs got his all night long.

[player_tooltip player_id='2282925' first='Jacob' last='Hunter'] - Liberty

Not many players in Arizona can score as quickly and as effectively as [player_tooltip player_id='2282925' first='Jacob' last='Hunter']. The 6'3" two-guard scored with ease in the Lions second game of the day. He showcased his ability to score with step-thrus and runners as he attacked downhill and got to the rim. Hunter also showed his patience in the jump shooting game as he got to his spots in the midrange and knocked in multiple baskets. He was the leading scorer for Liberty in a victory over Mesa.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146269' first='Daijon' last='Grayson'] - Mesa

No player in Arizona has seen their recruiting stock rise this weekend quite like [player_tooltip player_id='2146269' first='Daijon' last='Grayson']. The Mesa guard continued his hot streak on Saturday as he showcased his athleticism, ability to get downhill, and his length on both ends of the floor. His two-way upside caught the eyes of multiple division two schools as he led the way throughout the weekend.
