About Jacob
Expert Analysis
Justus Miranda | Prep Hoops Scout
The definition of a glue guy, and he really does do a bit of everything. Strong finisher near the rim who loves to attack downhill, driving into the mid paint before working in a quick spin to get himself an ideal layup look. The list keeps going from there: fights for offensive rebounds and looks for the put-back, hits pull-ups and turnarounds from the midrange, runs the floor in transition for coast-to-coast layups, will knock shots from beyond the arc, and dishes it to teammates in the halfcourt and on the break.

Jacob is a high IQ scorer with great footwork. He makes his money in the midrange on pullups and midrange post ups. His footwork in the paint is next level and constantly gets his defender in the air. He has a nice looking three ball that is consistent and has range. Defensively he plays great team defense and gets in the right spots. He plays hard and physical all game for the lions. Jacob had 19pts, 8reb, 2ast and 1stl vs Campbell hall.
