Seeing over 20 teams in a single weekend makes assembling an "All-Tournament Team" very tough. For accuracy sake, I'm going to give you an "All-Star Team" from the weekend. This will list 5 players that were some of the biggest stars of the 15u division at the Michigan State Tournament. These 5 players stood tall with their performances when I saw them play.

Bekius was a gamechanger for the 15u champion. He was a tall shooter that buried triples off the catch and shoot from the corner and from the top. Bekius also showed that he could shoot off the bounce when I saw him pull up and bury a mid range jumper. Bekius was able to get to the rim and was draw fouls. His most impressive play may have been when he changed course in traffic, went left to right, and finished at the bucket. Bekius was easily one of the best 15u's in the gym.

Crow caught my eye at the Michigan State Tournament. He showed off a really well rounded game. Crow scored off a cut and catch. Then later he switched it up and was the on target passer to a teammate cutting to the rim. Crow showed his shooting skills too. I saw him set in the corner, catch in the pocket and bury a 3. I loved when he attacked the block off the wing in transition and drew a foul.

Eddie was an elite athletic scorer. He went at the rim all weekend and he seemed to know what it took to get a look when he did. Eddie attacked the bucket with an aggressive dribble and a low front shoulder. He kept the ball protected in traffic. At least when I saw him, Eddie played off contact and got to the free throw line often.

The Brother Rice 15u All-Star was terrific with the South Blvd. Soldiers. The young man has a strong frame and is learning how to use it. Giglio had the strength to play some bully ball near the rim. But he wasn't just a power game. He played smart and snuck behind the defense a couple times, collecting a pass and getting a high percentage look at the rim. Giglio also showed that he could work off the glass, securing an offensive rebound and using his pivot foot to turn and score around his defender.

Wright Jr. put his name square on the map in the class of 2029. I heard whispers around the gym that he looked like a future D1. I don't want to label a kid this young, but that speaks to what he did and how he performed over the weekend. He was an elite downhill athlete and scorer. Wright Jr. was shifty in the half court and a big time threat in the open floor. He was able to get defenders out of position and force them to foul or give up a bucket.
