What did we think of several of the Minnesota 2028 talents? We give you a run down!

[player_tooltip player_id='2392217' first='David' last='Addai'] of St. Paul Johnson. Got a chance to watch David a few times and he was finishing, rebounding, and defending the paint pretty well and running the floor well. Unfortunately after an impressive paint dunk David looked to have hurt his hip or mid-section coming down from the play and was done for the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425100' first='Kaydon' last='Firchau'] of Madelia. This young man is growing and growing. Looks about 6'4 and is a ball handling playmaker with some pop to him. Good length, good touch, finished some at the rim and used that length in the backcourt well. Could be a guy we are talking about in the NSIC very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435240' first='Zeke' last='Gilbert'] of Hopkins. Gilbert is going at the rim as explosively as we have seen him. Right now he's one of the most explosive players in the state and it will be interesting to see if he can turn that into a double-double like paint performance as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2387331' first='Grant' last='King'] of Caledonia. King was outstanding this weekend. Loved the way he ran his team, loved his decision making in moving the ball versus getting to his own offense. Grant defended, he finished explosively going at the rim, and he played like I would think a Summit League point guard would want their PG to play like. Very impressive 24 hours for Grant.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388674' first='Jonas' last='McCreary'] of DeLaSalle. Like Gilbert, we are seeing Jonas go at the rim with a more ferocious approach. It helps that he looks a bit taller, a bit longer and stronger, so that maturity helps the confidence. I think Jonas has taken big steps towards maturity and I remain high on him as a scholarship prospect in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2606664' first='Musunguindji' last='Mwenentanda'] of Bloomington Kennedy. What stood out to me about Mus was his intensity. I thought he played hard and physically went at opponents at this event. Can face up some, can use his size and length to go at people in the paint, look forward to seeing what he can do with that intensity as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560458' first='Emmanuel' last='Oyesanmi'] of Tartan. I thought Emmanuel was able to get to his shot on the wing against a lot of good senior prospects. A solid performance for the top five talent, double figure scoring efforts against a high level of player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace. Had a game winner this weekend, a couple explosive finishes, was consistent with activity and getting body in front defending bigger players and he rebounded very well. I think he could be that all out effort explosive double-double Jordan Murphy type if/when he takes his game to the next level.
