Nothing is official just yet, but let's take a look at a handful of prospects that will be a positive for their new teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'], Rossville Christian Academy: Lowe comes to the Wolves with plenty of in-game experience under his belt. During his time at Fayette Ware, Lowe helped the Wildcats make the TSSAA Division 1 Class 3A State Tournament 3 years in a row. He brings postseason experience to Rossville. Lowe is a good on-ball defender, good teammate, and solid finisher at the rim through contact. He has the ability to make shots from the elbow area. Lowe is a good addition to the Wolves.

Jaelyn Blackwell, Houston: Blackwell has been impressive so far for the Mustangs during the month of June. He's a gritty defender. Blackwell doesn't shy away from contact when he's attacking the rim. So far this month, he's been playing with fire. He's been playing with a chip on his shoulder. Blackwell is playing with a Houston team that has Class 4A championship aspirations. The Mustangs are led by senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'] and senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles']. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2624485' first='RJ' last='Tate'] has joined the roster and provides immediate offense as the No. 3 option. Blackwell should fit in and be on the positive side of things.

[player_tooltip player_id='3479677' first='Eian' last='Ryans'], St. George's: Ryans will help the Gryphons' offense in 2026. He's a shot maker. Defenses will have more to focus on than junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2795834' first='Carson' last='Crump'], who has been a productive player so far in his high school career. Ryans will help St. George's space the floor and allow big man Kamryn Green the proper space in the paint to be effective at the rim.

Can Lausanne get to the Final Four?

The Lynx made the Elite 8 of the Division II-A State Tournament last season and returns a good group that will be competitive this upcoming season. Most importantly, Lausanne brings back its top 3 scorers ([player_tooltip player_id='2859657' first='Zuri' last='McClure'], [player_tooltip player_id='3150167' first='Patrick' last='Thompson'], and Imir "Trey" Harper) from last season. McClure led the Lynx with 17.9 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the field. Thompson, a 6-foot-1 guard, was the only other double-digit scorer from last season (10.4 PPG). The backcourt of McClure and Thompson will have Lausanne in the mix. A double-digit season from Harper will go a long way once the postseason arrives.

Someone to keep an eye on

[player_tooltip player_id='3279051' first='Dallas' last='Freeman'] is a prospect in the 2029 class to keep an eye on. He's a 6-0 guard that has yet to unlock his full potential. Freeman can make shots from the perimeter. He finishes well around the rim. Freeman can finish through contact. He's coming off a freshman season averaging 13.6 points per game on 56 percent shooting. I expect a solid sophomore season from Freeman.

It's about time

Briarcrest's senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2283268' first='Greg' last='Spight']'s recruitment is on the upside now. He recently picked up offers from Tennessee State, Incarnate Word, and Jones College. Spight has been playing well for P7 Elite 17U on the Under Armour circuit. He's also had a productive June for the defending DII-AA state champs. Spight is one of the best point guards in the 2027 class. He's finally seeing his investments pay dividends.
