4/19/26: Two-time State Champion Greg Spight Greg Spight Greg Spight 5'11" | PG Briarcrest Christian | 2027 State TN poured in 29 points and 21 points in P7’s two Saturday games in Kansas City. Spight was wonderful finishing through contact, which is always going to be a question recruiters ask. ‘He is so slight of frame, can he even deal with strong defenders?’ The answer, judging by Saturday’s performances, is yes. Spight keeps his shot attempt moving towards the basket even after the foul occurs. He is not always going to convert those attempts, but he did several times against fellow 17u UAA guards. Dribbling with and finishing with the left hand are clearly plus-plus skills for the ’27 point guard. Greg read seams very, very well. When a helper came alongside the screener Spight paused to let this helper to fully commit to him, then attacked back towards where the screen-side making the new defender run at his own teammate thereby creating just enough confusion for the speedy Spight to slip through towards daylight.
