Here are some stock risers who will undoubtedly rise in the next rankings update as they are looking at increased roles with their high school teams in 2026-27.

Eichorst was our top stock riser of the day. The rising junior used a combination of size and strength to impact the game, powerfully creating space off the dribble against defenders to get baskets at the hoop or pull-up in the mid-range, while also displaying good range on his jumper past three-point range. He's a hard-nosed on-the-ball defender and played with a competitive swagger, not afraid of getting physical in the least. He scored a team-high 23 points in their win over David Douglas.

There will be some open playing time in the backcourt at Nelson next season and we fully expect Lopez to get plenty of it. The rising senior guard did a nice job helping run the offense for the Hawks in their win over Benson, and was very active moving without the basketball to get free for scores both in the mid-range and around the hoop. He was quick pushing the ball up the floor in transition and capably shot the ball well from the corners. He finished with 19 points.

Based on what we saw at the Happy Rock Tournament, a player that is due for a big rise in both playing time and production is Gentle. The rising junior was an absolute beast on the offensive glass, using his length and quick Dennis Rodman-like leaping to continually tip and grab boards over and around opposing players. With this leading to practically all of his own points, Gentle finished with 10 points and an eye-popping 17 rebounds, with close to half of those boards on the offensive end.

Burnett is the kind of player that can really put points on the board in a hurry, and that's exactly what he did in Barlow's win over Mountain View of Vancouver. He got the hot hand from deep and when the defense adjusted, he used his quickness to blow by defenders to get to the hoop for scores. A tremendous one-on-one operator off the dribble, he also did a good job moving without the ball and getting open. He finished with a team-high 18 points.

Always an X-factor on both sides of the ball, Gentry fills in with whatever Barlow needs out of him on a game-by-game basis. Against Mountain View, the rising senior did a little bit of everything. He knocked down open shots, moved the ball effectively as the Bruins ran their offense, and did the dirty work such as hit the boards and lock down on D. At the end of the day, the statsheet showed a typical Gentry-like game of 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
