HilHi Summer League – Fresh Faces

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Summer League action was in full swing at Hillsboro High School. We were able to watch Hillsboro, Liberty, and Yamhill-Carlton play a couple of round robin games. A proven shooter with deep range, Wald forces defenders to respect him well beyond the three-point line, opening up opportunities for him to attack the rim. He isn't afraid of contact and consistently plays with toughness when driving into traffic. The sophomore plays with confidence and a solid basketball IQ, making smart decisions while staying aggressive offensively. Eischen can knock down perimeter shots when given space and consistently plays within the flow of the offense as a team-first player. At 6'1, Miranda has a smooth, natural feel for the game and the versatility to impact play both inside and on the perimeter. While still raw in certain areas, his potential was evident throughout the contest as he scored effectively. Miranda led his team in points with 18 against Liberty. With continued development, he has the tools to become a major contributor at the varsity level in the coming years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
