A lockdown defender that took on opposing team's best players throughout the day defensively, [player_tooltip player_id='2828836' first='Keegan' last='Clemen-Jones'] took his specialty from the school year and put it on display Saturday in Mount Vernon.

A combo guard with a handle, too, Clemen-Jones was easily the second-best player for West Delaware, putting the ball on the deck, creating offense, shooting from the outside and holding down the defensive side of the floor for the Hawks.

Just a freshman last season for Crestwood, [player_tooltip player_id='2840288' first='Keagen' last='Gaul'] saw limited minutes on varsity. Based on his performance on Saturday at Mt. Vernon, those minutes are going to receive significant uptick in 2026-27.

A guard that can play on or off the ball, Gaul brings versatility to the point guard position. He can run off screens and launch from deep -- with accuracy to the point that he can draw the defense away from the basket and find teammates for easy twos -- but, he's also able to attack the rim. He did so fearlessley against Cedar Rapids Washington, a much bigger school with big opponents to compete against.

One of the more fun watches of the weekend, [player_tooltip player_id='3343989' first='Corey' last='Davis'] is a twitchy, high energy point guard that's all over the place and controlled at the same time for Iowa City West.

A small point guard, Davis was not tentative on the court at all, going right at the opposing team and working to get to the rim. Getting the ball up and kissing it off the glass, Davis is able to get his shot over tall, out-stretched arms. A major positive, that awareness allows him overcome his lack of size and score over bigger players.

On top of his tight handle and burst that allowed him to get to the cup, Davis showed vision and unselfishness with his ability to find teammates on the three-point line for open shots when he drew the defense in.

One of, if not the best player in attendance on Saturday, [player_tooltip player_id='2523925' first='Trae' last='Fields'] sure can do it all. Composed and confident as they come on the court, Fields is going to make whatever program that takes a chance on him very happy.

A high-level shooter that can't be given an inch of space, Fields has excellent ball control and an elite handle that he uses to create for himself and others. Penetrating the defense with regularity, Fields has mastered a floater that will be beneficial for him later on in his career. Also able to dump it off to teammates and thread the needle on passes, Fields is a difficult guard when he's looking to attack.

An all-around player, Fields has grown an inch or two this summer, and that should help his recruitment going forward. Either way, he'll make somebody better.

One of several standouts for Cedar Rapids Washington -- arguably the most talented team in attendance over the weekend -- [player_tooltip player_id='2523920' first='Quinton' last='Garner'] is an excellent complement to Fields in the Warrior backcourt.

A steady, on-ball and off-ball guard that can handle the rock, get out in transition and finish, shoot the three and make his free throws, all without turning the ball over, Garner handles himself on the court perfectly alongside a star like Fields. An effort defender, too, Garner can handle guards on the perimeter without getting into foul trouble.
