The 6 winners advanced to the official Section-7 Weekend June 12-14 versus some of the top teams on the West Coast.

I watched a bunch of full and half of some of the games. I obviously did not watch every team and when I watched, I am basing it on that performance and on the teams success combined.

Congrats to Arizona College Prep, Chaparral, Gilbert Christian, Notre Dame Prep, West Point and Williams Field for earning spots into the weekends Section-7 Tournament.

I break down all 64 players with different categories.

Here are the All Section-7 Qualifier Two-Way Players

[player_tooltip player_id='2884697' first='Chase' last='Butler'] The Gregory School

A physical framed combo guard who is strong with great length and quicker feet. He will keep defenders in front of him and score it. He loves getting downhill to the basket and scoring thru contact with and-1's and he can play on or off the ball making plays and scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674099' first='Jose' last='Garcia Jr'] Maryvale

An undersized but tough hard-nosed scoring point guard. He is fast and quick in the open court and he has a super quick trigger with parking lot range on his threes off the catch or pull. He lit it up last year on junior varsity and looks to on varsity this season with more confidence.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386958' first='Isaiah' last='Gill'] Mountain View Marana

A defensive minded point guard with speed, twitch and quickness. He will get two feet in the paint and then find a teammate in stride. He will also pick up his opponent and collect steals or make it very hard to score on him. His first step is dynamic to get past his initial defenders with a crossover or just a simple burst.

[player_tooltip player_id='2640544' first='King' last='Kalikilwa'] West Point

One of the top two-way guards in the West Valley from the junior class may be Kalikilwa. He is a ball hawk collecting steals with his speed and twitch which often lead to dunks. He will also score it with euro steps, downhill drives and occasional perimeter jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2332290' first='Amir' last='Kendrick'] Chavez (Pictured)

A scoring point guard who can defend his position. He makes his opponents feel uncomfortable with his size for position, length and physicality. He will also score it with step backs threes, catch threes, pull-ups from mid-range and then throw up the court passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2281702' first='Caleb' last='McDaniel'] Chavez

A quick on quick two-way point guard puts a lot of pressure on the opposing guards with his speed and quicker feet. He is very quick to get downhill jetting past his initial defenders and scoring it around the post players but he can also step out and shoot the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2339783' first='Robert' last='Morris IV'] Desert Vista

A very strong wing forward with athleticism, length and skill. He can affect the passing lanes with his length and timing, rebound and slow down his opponents. He scores it with occasional perimeter jumpers and tough downhill drives in heavy traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2825320' first='Dasaan' last='Schaeffer'] Chavez

A strong framed two-way player has quick feet for being how strong he is to defend the opposing ball handlers but has the strength and length to handle the post players. On offense he is a shot maker with mid-range pull-ups, threes and drives.
