Highest impact player for Cactus Canyon this past weekend, and he was able to score at all three levels. In the midrange he used his stronger frame to drive before stepping back with a clean release, and he also utilized jab steps that got defenders to stutter before accelerating. When driving, he came at you a multitude of ways, whether straight downhill or with euros that led into a floater. Solid handle when he got out in transition, fighting through contact once he got to the rim and forcing fouls to get to the line. Pretty good decision maker all around, knowing when to take it himself and when to kick it out to a teammate.

Dasaan is a strong built guard that can get buckets from multiple places. He likes to post smaller guards and finish strong at the rim or use a nice post fadeaway. He has a smooth and square shot that looks good every time it comes off his hands. He has a nice handle an is a underrated athlete that can blow by defenders and finish high by the rim. Dasaan has a very calm game and never seems to get flustered or rushed. He will be a huge part in the Champions success this year.

Dasaan Schaefer is a physical forward who gets the job done on offense by using his acceleration, deceleration, and frame to get to where he wants to go. He’s also able to absorb contact when going up near the cup. On the other end of the court, he’s a reliable defender who makes his opponents’ lives difficult and doesn’t give up ground very easily. He’s also able cause turnovers. Making him a well rounded 2 way prospect.
