June 9-10 I watched the fourth ever Section-7 Qualifier. There were 84 teams in 6 pools of 14 teams each.

The 6 winners advanced to the official Section-7 Weekend June 12-14 versus some of the top teams on the West Coast.

I watched a bunch of full and half of some of the games. I obviously did not watch every team and when I watched, I am basing it on that performance and on the teams success combined.

Congrats to Arizona College Prep, Chaparral, Gilbert Christian, Notre Dame Prep, West Point and Williams Field for earning spots into the weekends Section-7 Tournament.

I break down all 64 players with different categories.

Here are the All Section-7 Qualifier Top Passers

[player_tooltip player_id='3574752' first='Kadar'e' last='Williams'] West Point (Pictured)

A scoring point guard who is a very good passer. He will score with mid-range pull-ups and has good natural quickness to get downhill. He has good pace and control to his game and will hesitate to the basket. He made some nice bounce passes in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='3191459' first='Eli' last='Avechuco'] Buena

A strong upper bodied combo guard who can play some on or off the ball. He is a sneaky good passer and makes the correct reads over and over. He has some advanced court vision but he can also score with downhill takes and occasional perimeter jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='3560734' first='Arash' last='Kharot'] Arizona College Prep

A pure point guard who is a top notch decision maker. He has a tighter handle and can maneuver the defense and find teammates. He is great with the pick and roll game and will thread it in. He will also score it with threes off the catch, mid-range pull-ups and quick drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552782' first='Jaiden' last='Hong'] Chaparral

The undersized point guard with skill and huge IQ with great awareness of his surroundings. He can score it with downhill takes with floaters, tough drives in the lane with either hand and he will hit the three off the catch. He will find teammates with left or right hand passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2773900' first='Colin' last='Burke'] Gilbert Christian

A fast and twitchy defensive point guard with plus court vision. He will score with a next level burst to get downhill and can pull-up from mid-range. He often will crossover his defender into a drive and finish or earn trips to the free throw line. He made some huge plays down the stretch to advance.

[player_tooltip player_id='3457310' first='Zeke' last='Bonner'] Desert Vista

The son of the coach just knows how to play. He makes players around him better with up the court ropes and consistently moves the ball and makes the next pass. He will also score with threes off the catch, quick downhill bursts and mid-range pull-ups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2682498' first='Banks' last='Wolfe'] Mountain View Mesa

The undersized pure point guard has his head on a swivel. He is always looking up and surveying the scene and finding teammates in stride. He will also score it with quick drives and mid-range pull-ups off the dribble and has some speed to get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467778' first='Nash' last='Jensen'] ALA Queen Creek

A crafty combo guard has a knack for getting to the basket. He smartly plays off of two-feet and sees the court well. He made some needle threaders in traffic and will score with a deceptively quick first step to the basket and he can take a bump in the lane.
