Three-level scorer with an impressive bag. Works his way inside by slicing through multiple defenders, then finishes with a floater or step-through layups. Exceptional at getting separation in the midrange, where he can step back or turnaround before releasing a clean looking shot. Good catch-and-shoot three-point shooter, and he will come off a screen into one as well. Has the pace of an upperclassman already and does not look like a freshman out there, which says plenty about his ability to hang with tougher competition.

Williams was absolutely dominant in every facet from the opening possession, he looked like a player determined to control the game. His burst and confidence immediately stood out, as he consistently got downhill, created separation and put defenders in difficult positions. He was aggressive without forcing the action, showing a strong feel for when to score and when to make the right pass. His ability to take over stretches of the game was evident in both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5, where he consistently made winning plays. He handled point guard duties comfortably, created offense for teammates and knocked down shots when given space. It was an impressive all around showcase
