Aaron’s S7 Top Performers by Positions: Combo Guards

Section 7 give teams a great chance to prove they are one off the best programs in the state and in the nation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Players get to finally show college coaches and scouts the work they have put in since the season ended. Some players have taken on bigger roles or have transferred to new schools for new opportunities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I will have 5 articles containing players from each category of Point Guards, Combo Guards, Wings, Forwards and Centers making up for 30 players that impressed me the most. He is one of the best shooters I have seen this summer and continues to prove it. He hit multiple big three's off the pull up and pick. He has a nice handle and can play both on and off the ball. He makes his money on the defensive end and will often guard the opposing teams best guard. Jaydon looked good with the ball in is hand and displayed his play making ability for him self and others. He is a very explosive athlete that puts constant pressure on the rim. He can take contact and finish strong or slam it coming down the lane. He has a sweet pull up from the midrange with nice rise to it. He will draw doubles with his scoring gravity and find the open teammate by the bucket or at the three. Jayvein puts constant pressure at the rim despite his size. He will use his quick first step and shifty handle to blow by defenders. He can finish high off the glass or come in for a vicious dunk down the lane. He can get hot from three in a hurry and go on personal scoring runs. He proved he can handle his own on the defense end by guarding the best offensive player in the state and making it difficult for him. Kingston has a elite handle and foot work that allow him to get to the bucket and use a floater or finesse finish. He has a beautiful shot from the outside and can extend his range a few feet off the line. He can play both on and of the ball and will initiate the offense when needed. He has a certain calmness to his game and makes his scoring look easy. With his explosiveness he is hard to contain on the perimeter and at the rim. He likes to get to his spots in the midrange and rise over smaller defenders for easy buckets. He his hard to guard in the open floor and has underrated vision. With his size and ability to put pressure on the rim he becomes a hard guard for smaller players. He will often bump off defenders before he gets to the paint and rise up for a midrange jumper. He is very hard to stop on the fast break and will even slam it if given the chance.
