une 9-10 I watched the fourth ever Section-7 Qualifier. There were 84 teams in 6 pools of 14 teams each.

The 6 winners advanced to the official Section-7 Weekend June 12-14 versus some of the top teams on the West Coast.

I watched a bunch of full and half of some of the games. I obviously did not watch every team and when I watched, I am basing it on that performance and on the teams success combined.

Congrats to Arizona College Prep, Chaparral, Gilbert Christian, Notre Dame Prep, West Point and Williams Field for earning spots into the weekends Section-7 Tournament.

I break down all 64 players with different categories.

Here are the All Section-7 Qualifier SG/F Shooters

[player_tooltip player_id='3179889' first='Hudson' last='Noll'] Gilbert Christian (Pictured)

Arguably the best game of the two days had the Knights defeating MTV Mesa in 2OT with Hudson coming up huge in critical moments. He made a mid-range fall away to get into overtime initially and then hit a corner three with 2 seconds left to win it. He has a nice stroke and immense confidence.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628288' first='Lucas' last='Anderson'] Ironwood Ridge

One of the easier shooting strokes in the junior class is Anderson. He catches and shoots it from deep range one by one and will shoot it with fall aways and mid-range jumpers. He is quick to get to the basket in traffic using his size and handle. He will rebound and even block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='3148414' first='Christian' last='Brady'] ALA Ironwood

A strong framed face-up forward with a pretty stroke. He can play the two, three, four or even five spot with his size and skill. He will shoot it easily from the three point line off the catch or pull and he will also ball fake and rip thru with some contact to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2812746' first='Cash' last='Hill'] AZ Lutheran

One of the top shooters at the event is a scoring guard who can play some on or off the ball. He has a super quick release with his three point shot but he is also deceptively quick with his first step and can get to the basket with drives. He will put up monster numbers this year with his sharp shooting and IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='2422556' first='Henry' last='Matus'] Ironwood Ridge

Anderson's partner in crime also had a big two days. He is a pure catch and shoot type with a pretty stroke and a high arc. He has nice form and gets squared quickly and lets it fly in a blink of an eye. He had some huge games over the two days and the duo will be torching the nets all season long.

[player_tooltip player_id='2337276' first='Brig' last='Standage'] Mountain View Mesa

An athletic scoring guard who keeps showing off his skill and improving athleticism. He can shoot the three with a quicker trigger and rattle them in one by one. He comes off of screens and fires away. He will throw it down easily on the break plus rebound and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='3491509' first='Eli' last='McClenaghan'] ALA Queen Creek

A bigger guard or wing forward with some skill and feel. He can create a little offense for himself off the dribble and get to the basket or create enough separation and get his shot off. He is clearly best off the catch from the three point line and gets hot quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2724508' first='Jackson' last='Warner'] Notre Dame Prep

A bigger scoring guard is your classic true specialist. He is a catch and shoot gunner from the three point line and comes with quicker trigger. He squares up perfectly like you should and has a nice arc. He will also use his size on the glass and rebounds well in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146240' first='Nickolas' last='Williams'] Fairfax

A bigger guard who can score or make plays. He can play either guard spot and create his own offense for himself. He can get hot quickly and he comes with deep range and a quicker trigger. He rebounds well with his size and has great length to play the passing lanes.
