Aaron’s S7 Top Performers by Positions: Forwards

Section 7 give teams a great chance to prove they are one off the best programs in the state and in the nation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Players get to finally show college coaches and scouts the work they have put in since the season ended. Some players have taken on bigger roles or have transferred to new schools for new opportunities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I will have 5 articles containing players from each category of Point Guards, Combo Guards, Wings, Forwards and Centers making up for 30 players that impressed me the most. He is hard to guard in the paint and can use multiple post moves to score at the bucket. He has a nice stroke from midrange and has even extended his range to three. He is a huge defensive presence and will block almost every thing at the rim. He can guard on the perimeter on switches and has great lateral quickness. He plays well off ball and will flash to the rim or post up and use moves to score over defenders. He is constantly on the offensive glass and will score off of putbacks. He has a nice handle and can create for himself on the perimeter against slower foot defenders. He has became more aggressive and will put pressure on the rim. He will attack down hill with his lengthy frame and try to slam it on defenders or finish high through contact. He has become a consistent three point shooter off the catch especially from the corner. He makes a impact on the defense end and will send shots away at the rim. He is a true floor stretcher and defensive presence. He can hit the three off the catch and spot up. He has great hands and is always ready for the drop off pass. He will dunk it when close to the rim and isn't afraid to go up verse defenders. With his length he is a major defensive stopper at the rim. He has a great frame and is a powerful athlete. He gets down hill every time he wants to and will bump off defenders to finish strong and above the rim. He has a great handle and can run the offense when needed. He is a bulldozer in transition and will slam it on the break. He is able to do all the small things right despite his age. He shows maturity in his game in his early stages of his high school career. He is always around the glass on both ends off the floor battling with bigger players. He has real skill for his size and can score from inside the paint and three. He finishes well through contact and has good hands. He can extend his range and hit the three off the catch.
