Albuquerque Prep is headed to Section 7 on June 12–14 with a talented group of players ready to compete in front of college coaches from across the country. These New Mexico standouts have a chance to boost their recruitment and make a statement on one of the biggest stages of the summer. He recently attended the Pangos All-American Camp and has earned an invitation to the NBPA Top 100 Camp.   Brandon is a tall guard who can knock down contested shots at a high rate. His ability to score from all areas of the court forces opponents to be aware of his location at all times. While he is a highly skilled offensive player, he also possesses an impressive defensive skill set.   Brandon uses his basketball IQ to disrupt passing lanes and turn steals into easy scoring opportunities. As a help-side defender, he has the ability to protect the rim and block shots effectively. One thing is certain: Drew consistently makes smart, aggressive plays. When defenses focus on taking away his playmaking opportunities, he has no problem creating offense for himself.   Drew possesses excellent body control when attacking the basket, allowing him to finish through contact and earn trips to the free-throw line. His impact extends to the defensive end as well, where he is a strong, alert defender who makes opponents work for every inch of space on the court. His basketball IQ, combined with his aggressiveness, enables him to apply constant pressure without committing unnecessary fouls.   In transition, Drew excels at pushing the pace, running the break, and delivering highlight-reel passes that lead to easy finishes. He has no problem attacking the basket and finishing through contact. A strong rebounder, Jerrell can ignite the fast break with a quick, accurate outlet pass or by grabbing the rebound himself and pushing the ball up the floor. His versatility and athleticism allow him to create problems for opposing defenses in transition and in the half court.   Jerrell has competed at a high level throughout the travel season on the EYBL circuit, consistently showcasing his ability to impact winning. Look for the young, athletic guard to continue displaying his skill set at Section 7. Elijah Tuupo is a strong combo guard who contributes in multiple areas of the game. His powerful frame allows him to consistently get to the rim, where he uses his strength and soft touch to finish efficiently through contact and score easy baskets.   That touch around the basket extends to all three levels of the floor, making Elijah a versatile scoring threat. He can score from the perimeter, the mid-range area, and at the rim with confidence and consistency. His ball-handling and passing abilities are also key components of his game. Elijah possesses the basketball IQ and court vision needed to create easy scoring opportunities for his teammates and keep an offense flowing.   One of his most impressive traits is his high motor. He is constantly active on both ends of the floor, creating opportunities through his energy and effort. Defensively, his motor, size, and strength allow him to guard at a high level. He excels as an on-ball defender, using quick hands and strong instincts to disrupt opposing ball handlers and poke the ball loose, often creating transition opportunities for his team.
