[player_tooltip player_id='2803621' first='Tyler' last='Bly'] of Eagan/Hoop Troop. The 6'2 guard was recently observed by Prep Hoops competing at State and competing in a way that caught the eye. There was intensity, there was versatility pushing as a one but scoring five times as a two, and there was potential to be a player in the Wildcat rotation next year. Bly was a JV guy this past season but he played a bit in the deeper varsity rotation and was the first off the bench when the JV got into varsity games. Keep an eye on Bly next winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2838876' first='Mozes' last='Garrett'] of Burnsville. Garrett is a 5'6 lead guard that was a part of the young Blaze talent that gave some opposition some surprising issues this past winter. Garrett is the quickness that averaged 6.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists a game shooting 70 percent from the foul line using that quickness to force fouls. Garrett joins with leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='2833380' first='Dereon' last='Barnes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2833375' first='Braeden' last='Heckman'] as a really nice sophomore trio.

[player_tooltip player_id='3666768' first='Gabe' last='Granger'] of Eastview. Gabe was a JV guy and a guy that played when the Lightning went nine deep. He's 6'5 with potential and a guy that has a chance to take a nice step forward next season in the rotation. Eastview has some good size potential going forward and Gabe has a chance to be a key part of it (along with 280 pound D1 lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2417238' first='Owen' last='Bauer'] and freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2435271' first='Kannon' last='Axdahl']).

[player_tooltip player_id='2496214' first='Finnegan' last='Griffin Boyle'] of Apple Valley/[program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic']. There have been some big scoring games this past spring that stuck in the head, and FGB has a couple that earned that noteworthy lasting praise. His 32 point game hitting nine threes was the biggest one helping FGB shoot well over 40 percent from the arc this 16u season. The Eagles lost four big impact seniors and after Horton and Hutton, there are some big roles to fill for the Eagles. Finn is playing like a guy we should watch to fill one of those roles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412465' first='Seth' last='Leary'] of Hastings. The six foot guard was one of three sophomores that were a key part of the Hastings rotation this past winter. Leary was on the court because he found himself with the bench role stepping on the floor and competing hard. He was good defensively in position and active hands, he found his way to win several 50-50 balls, is a good rebounding guard, and went to the rim well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382070' first='Jack' last='Mroczenski'] of Rosemount/Hoop Habits. Jack was just named to the First Team of the NHR State Tournament for his toughness and consistency in the backcourt. Jack went from being a Rosemount varsity reserve this past winter for a team that was better than expected (Jack scored about 4.5 points a game), to helping Hoop Habits to a tremendous spring losing only two games. When it comes to being on a good team in the spring/summer you have to find a way to help a team every game and that is what Jack does. Knock down a shot here, run a set there, attack off a reversal here, run the floor and score over there, and defend everywhere, Mroczenski has a last name that sticks and that starts with the impression made on the floor.
