[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] made a rather large statement last weekend winning both of their games last week in the Tune Up by double figures. We put that into affect now in the updated 16u rankings. Next up..... Live Period!

[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] is the Minnesota 16u team with the most talent and there really is no disputing that fact. Heading into the Tune Up though they were ranked third because they lost to Pack whereas Hoop Habits and [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Wilde beat Pack. But.... head to head solves a lot of items when it comes to rankings and [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] beat Hoop Habits 47-29. And they won that game on the exact same court that Fury Wilde had Hoop Habits down 20 and in running time with five minutes to go before a late surge made the score 52-42.

So who is number one? I would say [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] and Hoop Habits had similar type of wins over the other top three team. We know [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] has the more high end talent but team rankings aren't judging that, they judge team success and both teams have had a lot. The one local knock... Fury Wilde lost to Hoop Habits early in the season and [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] lost to Pack, both in really close games. So we will need the rest of the season to have a true answer.
