2028 Point Guards Break Out Making 2028 Rankings Debut

Schaechter plays with flair throwing instinctual passes on the money.&nbsp; Finds guys in transition, on the move in the dunker spot, and shooters.&nbsp; Works well in the pick/roll as a distributor.&nbsp; In the second game we saw he shot it particularly well from beyond the arc draining three of them with several off the bounce and step backs.&nbsp; Can also be an impact defender with his pressure on the ball and toughness on that end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3660873' first='TJ' last='Smith'] (Rich Township)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rich Township 5'10” guard who utilizes his quickness and has juice with the rock in his hands.&nbsp; High level shot maker knocking them in both pulling up and off the catch.&nbsp; More than just a shooter he has some sneaky pop off the bounce.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Amani Chekingo (Grayslake North)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This was one of the most fun players to watch all spring.&nbsp; The Grayslake North lefty 2028 guard is super slick with the ball in his hands making plays for himself and others.&nbsp; Sound decision maker on the move.&nbsp; As a scorer he can hit a spot up long ball along with utilizing shot fakes and change of pace to get to the rim.&nbsp; Scrappy defender as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3587106' first='Sam' last='Briggs'] (Hononegah)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Massive showing for Briggs at Prep Hoops Live as the Hononegah 5'8” point guard went off in two separate games we caught him play for Rockford Elite 16U.&nbsp; Shifty ball handler that has major shake with the rock in his hands.&nbsp; Keeps the defense off balance with his handles scoring in the paint with euro steps along with dumping it off to his finishers or kicking to shooters.&nbsp; Passes well with either hand whipping it around on the money.&nbsp; Quality shooter including behind ball screens as he has legit range.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3633355' first='Hayden' last='Storck'] (Maryville Christian)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Maryville Christian guard is a high level shot maker!&nbsp;
