Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Schaechter came all the way from Illinois and impressed with his well-rounded offensive skillset and general feel for the game. The 6-foot guard made shots from three, but he was most lethal as a driver and passer, where he consistently got into the paint to draw the defense before kicking out to shooters for wide open shots. He was probably one of the best passers I saw at the event. Schaechter is only a junior, too, so he still has some time to improve his body and athleticism.

An underrated point guard for All-in 16u Williams and Vernon Hills. He’s a 6’2″ point guard that pushes the tempo in transition. Displaying very solid vision in the open floor to get guys involved as a playmaker. He also displayed confidence with his midrange and 3-pt shooting. Showing he can greater his own shot and work well off the catch-and-shoot. Quick to close players out on the perimeter defensively. Keeping his feet in a good stance.
