New Prep Hoops Ranking: 55

Finally able to get back on the court after missing most of the spring with an injury, Ruz is rounding back into shape for [program_tooltip program_id='2480703' first='24:' last='UP'] and is proving he is one of the better lead-guard prospects in the state. The Spain native played two years ago at DME Academy in Delafield before opting to transfer to Pius XI Catholic as a junior. He had to sit out last year due to WIAA rules, but he will be eligible for the Popes in 2026-27. His size, court vision and ability to run a team are all positive attributes. His perimeter jump shot has improved, which will go a long way to helping his overall game. Ruz and Pius XI 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2552505' first='Justin' last='Jones'] figure to form a strong backcourt next season at Pius XI.

New Prep Hoops Ranking: 300

Hauser is coming off a junior season at Holmen where he averaged 3.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. But don't let those numbers fool you. This high-IQ point guard might not be a huge bucket-getter, but he knows how to run a team, get the ball to his teammates and defend on the perimeter. His play this spring for the [program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Sixers' last='Elite'] club program has been outstanding, even though he rarely leads the team in scoring. He can score when the opportunities are there, but he's the true definition of a pass-first point guard and that figures to earn him substantial playing time at Holmen during the 2026-27 season.

New Prep Hoops Ranking: 306

Good players at large high schools often have to wait their turn to shine. Such is the case with Vosters, an extremely quick and confident lead guard who has emerged this spring as one of the better guards in the rugged Fox Valley Association. Vosters ability to put points on the scoreboard with his shooting skill is a huge plus, but so, too, is his activity on the other end of the floor. He utilizes his quickness and instincts to disrupt things on the perimeter, making things difficult for opponents. Look for Vosters to be a key player for the Papermakers of Kimberly next season as he is attracting recruiting interest from a number of schools, including Viterbo and Waldorf.

New Prep Hoops Ranking: 315

Youngbauer is extremely active on the basketball floor as he can affect the game in a positive manner with his scoring, passing, defense and shooting. The returning first-team all-Dairyland Conference point guard put up impressive numbers while helping Whitehall to an 18-7 record as he averaged 13.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.2 steals while also finishing second on his team with 60 made three-point shots. Youngbauer took his game to the club circuit with Chippewa Valley Select Basketball and has played well for the 17U -SL squad thus far this spring.

New Prep Hoops Ranking: 317

Spring possesses good size and a strong feel for the game and that combination has helped him emerge as one of the better point-guard prospects in northern Wisconsin. One of two underclassmen to earn first-team all-Heart O'North Conference honors last season, Springer put up impressive stats for Hayward as he averaged 19.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.4 steals while helping the Hurricanes to a 16-9 record. He also topped the team with 86 made three-point baskets in 225 attempts for 38 percent.
